Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

Stanley Johnson is past looking like a Bust... We are at the what level of a Bust he is stage.... Him and Ben McLemore :smh:

I think both of them are due for a change of scenery. I wasn't so sold on Ben but you couldn't tell me Stan wasn't going be a solid player in this league.

And Frank too

Yessir... I'll tell you this too, as much talent as he appears to have, Porzingas is starting to look fragile as fuck too! He still may pan out and I love kids game, just hope he's not the tin man...

These GM's and scouts need to really re-evaluate their approach though.. Too many high ass picks turning out out to be trash, and lower picks are florishing... Isiah Thomas comes to mind... Last pick in the damned draft and look at him!

It's a crap shoot every year but a can't miss year and people still miss lol

Nobody on the warriors starting 5 was a pick that people were head over heels for aside from durant.
It's not a crap shoot if one has good management and management does its job; and yes green klay and steph wasn't high on some other teams list, but they could play; they developed correctly and that's a product that isn't easily found; because it isn't measured by numbers.....

Hey fellows, what's been going on in this joint?
Cavs playing like they dont care; GS is getting better; Wizards are the 2nd best team in the east; LAC is probably done; Snicks trying to get rid of Melo; Leonard playing well; Toronto has hid the skids; Dallas and Miami are playing better; Utah can make it to the conference finals; Bulls are disjointed;

@IT IS WHAT IT IS dammit man your 76ers suck

Got Salah Mejeri out there looking like 2011 Tyson Chandler FOH

Mavs have won 5 of 6 and 7 of the last 10

These niggas really trying to win trying real hard :smh:

Bucks trade Miles Plumlee for Hornets' Spencer Hawes, Roy Hibbert

The Milwaukee Bucks traded forwardMiles Plumlee to the Charlotte Hornetson Thursday for big men Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert.

The 6-foot-11 Plumlee signed a four-year, $50 million deal with the Bucks during the summer but hasn't received steady playing time. He has played in just 32 games with 12 starts, averaging just 2.6 points.

"We are excited to add Miles to our roster," Hornets general manager Rich Cho said in a statement. "He is an athletic big man who brings additional physicality and rebounding to our frontcourt rotation. He's a proven player with a strong work ethic and we think he'll fit in well with our core group."

Injuries have slowed Hibbert this season, and recently he had fallen out of coach Steve Clifford's rotation as the Hornets have tried to shake out of a slump. Hibbert is averaging a career-low 5.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 42 games. He signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Hornets last year.

Hawes is a veteran shooting specialist. He's averaging 7.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 35 games but is shooting just 29 percent on 3-pointers, his lowest in seven seasons. He has a player option in his contract next season for $6 million.

"Spencer and Roy are two proven NBA centers who give us additional depth and versatility in the front court," Bucks general manager John Hammond said in a statement. "The trade also gives us future cap flexibility as we continue to shape our roster. Miles and Steve [Novak] are true professionals both on and off the court, and we wish them all the best."

To make room on the roster, the Bucks waived Steve Novak.

Looking at Minnesota last night. Towns doesn't touch the ball enough

They have way too many tips down the floor where it's one pass and shoot

Y'all see this nigga Malik Monk?

The Mavs got to stop winning asap

Runs hot and cold

I could see him being like Lou Will or Jamal Crawford

Wizards win again. I wouldnt be shocked if the Wizards snatched the #1 spot in the East sooner or later. Which is cool with me. If my Bulls make the 8th seed...id rather us play the Wizards than the Cavs (because of the matchups).

Also, the West conference is no longer the dominate conference. There was a time when the West was 5-6 teams strong. U had to win at LEAST 50 games just to get a 8 spot....but now the West is looking weaker and weaker. Durant going to GS was one thing that made it weaker....but also the talent just aint there like it used to be.

I got a feeling that as soon as the start increasing the pay of some of the guys who havent gotten raises, the league will be even weaker.

Oh wellz......

Lebron can go after him lmaooo

But you know Dan like "Play with what you got breh"

Lol. Who would they give up for him?

Also, Wilson Chandler wants out too. Now that's a dude who would have a significant impact on a team. Thought the Knicks should have never got rid of him.
