instead of focusing on getting early buckets, building a cushion, setting the tone, OKC is fucking off valuable possessions.
5 possessions if you include the dish to perkins.
he needs to do more to make mike conley work on D.
especially on those s/r possessions when OKC is letting kevin durant handle the ball in the half court.
There is no reason to go out of your way to get Perkins and Ibaka involved in the offense. If they are open, they are open but I don't think it's a good philosophy to actively seek out "getting them going"....especially Perkins.

the only way you get ibaka involved is pick and roll jams that's it. okc don't need the jumper to be working that does nothing.
that being said all that shit in the 1st quarter they're only down 2.
i mean, serge ibaka had that outstanding game against the spurs, so we know he can hit some mid range shots.
but i'm NO WAY making him a first option.

kendrick perkins (or the 5) is the designated doubler up high.
kendrick perkins too foot slow, so marc gasol lit him up too many times early.

Hell yeah it's a mistake, Thabeet is a bum and undisciplined on defense. Brooks must not like Collins because him and Ibaka should be getting the majority of the the minutes as their bigs.
he can make them but they don't help them.
he helps getting to the rim and dunking and getting the bigs in foul trouble.
them jumpers can't do that

Fish is not only the leading scorer but coming up with timely defensive plays. Fisher just understands spacing so well. He just gets to the right spot on the floor.
Man that dude is worthless. The only reason he's still in the league is because he's a seven 7'4. This is his 3rd team as a top 5 pick (I believe). The Rockets who were in dire need of a big man when they traded for him got rid of him with the quickness

he's uncoordinated, has weak hands, and doesn't anticipate rotations well.

but the sad part about that sequence was that kendrick perkins got popped in the nose at the start of that play, and spent the rest of it wiping his nose.
Perk had a heckofva game that series as well. They were both career days for each. Aint been seen since.
