Yeah family they were too cheap to build a stadium in Seattle so went to a shitty market and use that as an excuse to run a team on slim margins and no luxury tax. So we have to suffer by watching a team tank in hopes that they can find pieces to win a championship before they have to pay their second deals.

The NBA has 6 farm team full of young players not ready for prime time. The G-Leauge is a fucking joke where players go from being bench scrubs in the NBA to 30ppg stars.
The crap teams like this used to be hidden on the Nets/Clippers because no one gave a damn about those franchises. Now if you're not a "big market" the NBA will treat your fanbase and fans like trash.
It doesn't help that the current NBA players are coddled little bitches who only want to play in four states (NY, FL,TX, Cali)
The NBA was seriously considering expansion when they have a very serious player development problem. Orlando, Detroit, OKC, Cleveland, Sacramento, and New Orleans haven't gave a rats ass about winning in years.
AAU ball and a lack of college development has led to player who dont know how to play anything but pick and roll bball. "Super" Stars like Steph Curry cant handle a midcourt trap or double team. Dame and Harden getting exposed when the whistle isnt soft.
One the bottom end you have players like Sekou Dumboya who have no idea how the defensively rotate nor pass the ball despite shooting 35% from the field.
If the players are going to bitch and mone every time they aren't drafted to the big four states then the league needs to contract or separate into two different leagues.
Cleveland/OKC shouldn't have to complete with NYC for players. In know most people dont care about the games and just want to gamble but what's the point of acting like you want competitive balance like the NFL.
If the NBA wasn't global and had neive foreign fans waiting vicariously for their local hero to succeed in the NBA they would have to explain to investors why the NFL is kicking thier asses in every metric.
Its a propaganda league. They finally got their head out their assess and tamed the whistle happy officials. Arenas will continue draw half assed crowds in the Midwest and South while the NBA caters to the rich on the coast and Texas.
73% of the US population resides in the Midwest and South. So who the fuck are you catering to if you aren't going after the majority of the population in your home country.
Chinese gamblers & rich/corporate interest have ruined the league. Disney with its consolidation plans purposely wanted to concentrate on developing premium markets. They same plans they used to consolidate Disney studios and eliminate a world of content to focus on strategic properties is what is happened in the NBA.
