I can't believe this stat : In all five of Duke basketball's NCAA National Championship seasons (1991, 1992, 2001, 2010, and 2015), the Blue Devils defeated St. John's. Duke has never won a national title without defeating the Red Storm at some point during that same season.
- 1991: Duke 78, St. John's 61 (Elite 8).
- 1992: Duke 91, St. John's 81 (Regular season).
- 2001: Duke 91, St. John's 59 (Regular season).
- 2010: Duke 80, St. John's 71 (Regular season).
- 2015: Duke 77, St. John's 68 (Regular season).
She is ridiculous especially in person. She just ruthlessly goes after the basketball and she gets to her spots offensively
Agreed. I was telling some coworkers how effective she is both offensively and defensively. She's a game changer out there on the court.
Putting up stats like 10, 12, and 16 steals in collegiate games in recent seasons is unreal. She's reading & disrupting the opponent's set-ups constantly.

Best thing about the 2nd half is they slowly chipped away at the lead. Never allowed it to get too insurmountable.
