What the Fuck Wenger!!! No M'Villa,No Essien?? Diaby is our defensive midfielder!! What the fuck man!!:angry:

I've been arguing this very fact with a Gunners fan in my circle from the moment Song exited.

He thinks Cazorla and Arteta will hold it down in midfield. :smh::smh:

Edit: Not to say that they won't hold the ball well, because they can and will.. I meant from a pure defensive standpoint.

I still don't know who's gonna protect that vulnerable ass back line.

Wenger needs to be assessed and investigated. How could he let Essien slip through to Madrid?:angry:
I thought Wenger said he was "actively" seeking to add to the strength of the team.
We should count ourselves lucky if we get to finish top 10 this season :smh::angry::smh::angry: No later season fortune this time :angry::angry:
I vex!

Looks like my spurs have been a bit busy lately in the transfer market. Dembele, Dempsey and Lloris. With Sigurdsson and Vertonghen also. Things are looking up.

If they end up in the top 4 they would have a very good season. :(

BTW, what's up with QPR signing Julio Cesar and Swansea getting Pablo Hernández ?
Do they have that much money ?

I'm glad Iniesta won, he deserves it. He's been putting in work for years in Messi's shadow and he's been great for Spain.

Damn..Group D is the group of death

co-sign i dont see man city making it out.

and whats going on with arsenal. ninjas stay signing B grade players:lol:.:smh:

most of arsenal starters would be bench players on other teams. vermaleen and walcott are the only ninjas on that team thats worth talking about.

when Cazorla is the biggest summer signing for arsenal this summer you know its a wrap. ninjas cant score yet.:lol::lol::smh::smh:

these ninjas like losing and finishing 3rd or 4th. thats why ninjas stay leaving. a sucessful season for arsenal is winning a pre season cup, building young players, and finishing 3rd or 4th.:lol:

Ronaldo 'sad' for 'professional' reasons

soc_g_cristron_cr_576.jpg

A "sad" Cristiano Ronaldo refused to revel in his scoring feats on Sunday during Real Madrid's first victory after three rounds of the Spanish season.

As reporters asked him about his two-goal night, Ronaldo solemnly said he didn't celebrate in the team's 3-0 home win over Grenada because he was "sad" for "professional" reasons.

"The people know the reasons why I didn't celebrate the goals," he is quoted as saying by Spanish news agency EFE. "I don't do so when I am feeling sadness. It was due to a professional motive.

"The appropriate people inside the club know why I'm sad. I won't say anything more."

He scored two of the goals in Los Blancos' 3-0 win over Granada, but then came out to declare he is unhappy. ESPN FC's Madrid correspondent examines Cristiano Ronaldo's turbulent evening in Madrid. Blog
When asked by reporters what, if any, part losing the UEFA Best Player in Europe award to Andres Iniesta on Thursday played in his decision to hold back on his celebration, he firmly said none.

"If I had won the award it wouldn't have surprised me, same thing if I lost it," he said. "The award is the least of the reason. There are more important things."

Ronaldo scored in the 26th and 54th minutes before leaving the field grimacing and favoring his left leg following a tackle by Borja Gomez that cost the Granada defender a second booking.

"Let's see in the next few days if I recover," Ronaldo said, adding he hopes to be ready for Portugal's upcoming World Cup 2014 qualifiers against Luxembourg and Azerbaijan. "I'm not feeling great but I want to go with my national team. I want to play because they are two important qualifiers for us."

"No me siento querido"

1346649034_extras_noticia_foton_7_0.jpg

CR7 to Pérez: "I don't feel wanted"

Cristiano Ronaldo had a meeting on Saturday with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and José Angel Sánchez, general director. During the meeting, the forward told the president and the chief executive that he doesn't feel "wanted" at Real Madrid. He did not explain the reasons for his discontent, although there are a number of theories circulating at the club.

Ronaldo then blew his top yesterday, after Real Madrid's comfortable win over Granada, in which he scored two goals, his first league goals of the season. He said he was "sad" and that the people at the club were aware of this, which is of course true, following Saturday's meeting with Florentino Pérez and José Angel Sánchez.

The player was quite upfront: "I don't feel wanted", but he gave no more clues, and the club bosses did not ask for any. After the meeting they rang Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, who told them that Ronaldo had not had his head turned by some amazing offer. But it cannot be forgotten that the renewal of Cristiano's contract is still on standby.

Other sources hint at bad relationships between the Portuguese star and other companions in the dressing room. They speak of a falling-off in his relationship with some of the players who form the solid nucleus of the side, like Marcelo. And yet during the Granada match, his dealings with his team-mates were seen to be quite normal. Except that Cristiano did not celebrate his goals.

His words following the match in the mixed zone were a bombshell that rang out across the Bernabeu, and this morning he was supposed to attend an event in Lisbon, but in the end he did not go.

Zenit sign Hulk, Axel Witsel

Zenit St. Petersburg bolstered its squad Monday, signing Brazilian striker Hulk and Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel to five-year deals and paying transfer fees reportedly worth a combined 80 million euros ($100.7 million) to their Portuguese clubs.

Zenit didn't disclose the transfer fees it paid to Portuguese rivals Porto and Benfica, respectively, but Reuters, citing a team source, reported that the Russian club paid 40 million euros for each player.

The 26-year-old Hulk joined Porto from Japanese side Tokyo Verdy and scored 54 goals in 103 league matches after signing in 2008.

Witsel, a 23-year-old midfielder, only joined Benfica in 2011 from his hometown club Standard Liege, where he started his career in 2006.

"We were trying to sign them before the Sept. 3 deadline for the Champions League so they can play for us in that competition as well as the Russian league," Zenit spokesman Dmitry Tsimmerman told Reuters.

Zenit was drawn last week in Group C of the Champions League along with AC Milan, Anderlecht and Malaga.

Hulk has acquired 13 caps for his country and was linked with a move to Chelsea.

Zenit said on its website that Hulk will wear No. 29 for the team.
