I know its preseason,, but I havent been impressed so far with Bushrod/Slauson...I know they need to develop chemistry, but damn...

And Forte needs to hit the damn hole

I know man!!! Chemistry will come but they are looking soft!

Good call on the Forte run, thats what they will hopefully focus on.

DAMN IT CUTLER.... :smh: :smh: :smh:

Good showing tonight from the rookies: Long, Mills, Ford.

Also glad to see Gould still has it...and no news is good news re: long snapper. I know Mannelly is out, but I cant even recall that being mentioned.

Lock: too many to say, we've got a team of vets
Bubble: hopefully Webb and Allen
Depth: Dline is stacked, secondary looks good too...also even though its a perceived weakness, we have enough Oline options to say "perform or sit down". On the other hand qb depth sucks. I guess that's also my "trouble area".

The offense has talent all over the place, but may take some time to put it all together. Defense and special teams are top 5 units on this league.

mofo hit a wall. I think the defense wont be the best in the NFL...but it will stil be in the top 5 despite the missing pieces. The secondary feeds off the d line pressure... imho. Hence the secondary stil needs work.

The offense stil needs work as well. I know theyre stil learning..but imho Marshall wil get targeted a lot once again. Which isnt a good thing.

Long impressed me the most yesterday. The ol looks better imho. I learned that Cutler's footwork and decision making can make the OL loook worse than it really is.

I still see 4-5 wins before the bye.

Peep the sig!!!

I remember that hit, that was Bostic who hit Bridgewater? :eek:WOW!

Man Kyle Long is a man child, mean and nasty. About damn time bears got some mean O Lineman. Fuck is wrong with Cutler? He keeps doing the same shit, how the fuck you throw into double coverage like that. Go to your check downs....:smh::smh: Cutler has to spread the ball around, he can't just constantly go to Marshall. You have Jefferies and Bennett to go to now and Forte. I know its preseason but I am still seeing his old bad habits...:smh::smh:

Chitown/Pworld: I agree w/you about Cutty....he's making the same mistakes, footwork sucks and he's not checking down or spreading the ball around. Has Martellus even been targeted yet?

What's most annoying to me is that it seems like at times he just gives up on his progressions if he FEELS the pocket getting tight...and his anticipation/mental clock, as far as thats concerned, sucks right now.

Tue, 13 Aug 2013 17:09:23 -0700

The Chicago Bears signed free-agent RB Curtis Brinkley (Chargers) to a one-year contract Monday, Aug. 12.

Fantasy Tip: Brinkley will battle Armando Allen (hamstring) for the No. 3 job behind Matt Forte and Michael Bush. Unless injuries decimate the Bears backfield, Brinkley and Allen have little to no fantasy appeal.

At this point there are no more excuses for Cutler, either he performs
well this season or the BEARS gonna have to find another franchise QB.
Only problem with this Bears management/coaching staff; is they have
never in franchise history developed QBs or have the knowledge to get good QBs.

Like I said in other thread, Like it or not Cutler is probably the best
talented QB in BEARS history. There can be a case for Jim McMahon but he
wasn't durable to play consistently and besides Erik Kramer career year
in 1995, Bears QBs are statistically the worst compared to other NFL franchises
in NFL history.:smh:

I am hoping Phil Emery and Marc Trestman can be on the same page
when it comes towards developing and finding the best QB for the
future. However, looking at the acquisitions of backups McCown and
Trent Edwards; it looks like BEARs havent learned their lessons from
past seasons.:smh::smh::smh:

Trent edwards???

:puke:

 I feel you though...

:angry::angry::angry::angry:

Phil Emery and Marc Trestman as a BEARS fan, I am trying to
give yall the benefit of doubt but WTF???
