@@@Official Cavs thread 2014-2015@@@

Cavs defense made Lou Williams look like Iverson in his prime. Their perimeter D got that work tonite.

Getting handled by 20 on a regular basis is annoying. Cavs aren't even being competitive. Coach can't even get these cats to run the fucking offensive sets.

Unless you think this shit resembles Blatt's system? Unless he gets control of his team, figures out a rotation, and stops this shit, they will get rid of him.

This is no where near the Heat's struggles in 2010-11.

How come when the cavs win ya'll say lebron is the coach on and off the court and people were bragging about him calling the shots but when they lose its the coach fault? How come the whole team is getting the blame but lebron is shooting horrible in every game but once but he gets no blame? You take the free throws the refs our giving him away and he wouldn't even be close to 20 points per game. Last year Durant and the thunder beat the best teams in the nba including the heat with ibaka being the second best shooter on the team playing in the west. When a team lose the star player gets the blame but people constantly make excuses for lebron. Replace lebron with durant, melo, rose, paul, on this same cavs team and they would have a winning record

No argument from me. His defense is terrible. But when we got him, I(along with others) expected him to be part of offensive juggernaut. Instead, we have the offense we see in those loses(defensive is consistently awful).

Love spotting up 25 feet from the hoop. Forcing it inside because that's what Love wants instead of moving the ball around and letting him get off in the natural flow of the offense. I've also seen Love forcing his shots when Kyrie and Lebron go into iso mode.

If the offensive play was consistent, this team is probably 8-4(ala Nash's Suns you referenced) instead of 5-7 and people are rightfully saying this team desperately needs to work on it's defense if it wants to contend.

Instead, we have a sorry, sorry ass defense and a wildly inconsistent offense that has its inconsistency masked because it puts up such high numbers when it is on. And there is no sign this will ever be consistent with a shoot-first PG and players not running sets. :smh:

Watching Love play defense is painful. He will let guards a foot shorter just shoot over him in the lane. That shit isn't going to improve that much, but he needs to be way more efficient on the other end of the floor because that is what they wanted out of him.

LeBron's effort and concentration has been lacking at times. Case in point

Raptors last night

Is Lebron hurt, because he doesn't seem like Lebron this year

He's not as physically dominant. Like the weight loss took something out of him.

 Realization is a mutha to LB right now.

His team needs a lot of work and while they are working to get there, teams like the Raptors and Wizards are primed to be in it for the long haul.

Kevin Love ----> He's still a WHITE BOY. Soft ass defense. Dude is going to get ate in the paint and there is not that LB can do about that.

I'm not saying KL is the problem because the Cavs have a whole heap of problems. I just knew that KL wasn't one of the answers. That white boy got over on y'all squad, Gene.

I'm just saying what the buzz is. It's falling on the coach first. That's just life. They look at the talent on the team, and they figure they hired the wrong guy. The offense isn't being ran, they figure they hired the wrong guy.

This all can't fall on Lebron. Kyrie has to be a true PG for this team to work. Love has to be effective. Dion doesn't want to come off the fucking bench.

And that isn't even addressing the god-awful defense. :smh: :smh: That's entire different shitstorm of problems.

The way he lost the weight I think is hurting him

That low carb shit is for females

Athletes need carbs

He didn't think going back to Cleveland really meant going back to 2008 Cleveland.

That's what so funny to me. Did he actually think that he was going to do less in Cleveland? It's almost like he didn't learn anything leaving Miami, which we both know is untrue.

This Cavs teams got some shit to overcome.

Lebron got what he wanted. That's why he has ordered Love to be 25 feet away from the basket. Bron  "stay out my Lane." Love like :("can't a I get some post touches, I got some nice moves.." Bron like  "not until I point to the post bitch!"

Blatt in the background like :( "Sir, may I address the team now?"

Your starting point guard averaging 5 assist is your best player?

That says a lot

Because Kobe Bryant for his career at shooting guard averages 4.8 assist a game

He lost too much weight, his optimal weight is 260.. Ninja lookin like a crack head at 220

Blatt is done. His clock is ticking. This man just isn't ready to deal with this type of spotlight and Gilbert damn sure is going to want to keep LB happy.

You're right, LB got what he wanted and now he has to figure this shit out. In my opinion, this Cav team need moral victories to vision their flaws and improve them with pieces. Their team chemistry is way out of shape.

 Kyrie has been the Cavs best player this year, even his defense has improved.

Similar to James Harden, Kyrie's defense problem is all about effort on his part, which can be improved. Love on the other hand  WILL NEVER BE A GOOD DEFENDER one on one. He is always going to need help and that is going to destroy any possibility that the Cavs can put together anything similar to what LB was accustom to in MIA.

PG job is to run the offense. I've seen possessions where Kyrie is the only one touching the rock. Even when it works, it takes the team out of the equation. When it doesn't work, it's even worse.

Yeah, he got what he wanted, but not what he expected. He probably thought his only concern was going to get these cats to play defense.

But I see him frustrated on the offensive end. Very frustrated. Then he is of course very frustrated on defense.

If the Cavs don't have things figured out by mid January then it's probably best to shake things up. The good thing for the Cavs is they they have pieces that can be flipped for players that will better fix their system.

Waiters can be flipped for Affalo or Chandler & backup big.

Irving can be flipped for Bledsoe, Rondo, Lawson

Love is hard because he has to agree to resign. Boston has the pieces to work the trade & Love could be Boston's next white hope. Sullinger can hit the mid out to the 3pt line. Flip Love & Waiters for Rondo & Sullinger. Then move Kyrie for a shooter and wing player or big.
