From the comments section of another youtube video I was watching:

"Escrow is not controlled by ripple, it is programmed thru smart contract, so a billion must be released. This billion is released into a ripple wallet and not circulating amount. Ripple uses 300 million to make strategic investments or more and re-escrow the rest. The amount they use finds its way into circulation when whomever they pay with it moves it to an exchange. The re-escrowed amount goes into a new programed escrow different from the one it came out from. This explains why circulating amount slowly goes up and yes, it helps keep prices controlled. Ripple before the clarity act must change this cycle and have the releases of xrp controlled by a dao or else, the entire 100bil (now 99.97 bil) would not pass the decentralization test that is necessary for xrp to be deemed a commodity. This makes me think ripple benefits from the delay in regulations."

That’s the aim but this video makes it seem that world adoption is instant. XRP is one of many vying for that top spot.
Think its more its usage and settling of transactions as to how swift and accurate it is for monetary transactions. I've been watching Ripple since its inception. Never knew it would become this for banking from back in 2014 when I first got news of it. But to see where it is today, its proven itself to probably be the primary used around like how we talk Visa and MasterCard today. We will see.

BREAKING: While Trump rants about “draining the swamp,” his own wife just ran the most shameless grift in crypto history.

$MELANIA memecoin launched at a fake $1.9 BILLION valuation, pumped 25,000% on MAGA hype, then predictably DUMPED 94%, turning $12,500 life savings from loyal Trump fans into $118 pocket change.

This wasn’t an investment. This was a blatant rug-pull on the very people who wore the red hats and screamed “own the libs.”

The same grifters who called student debt relief a “handout” just handed Melania a private jet’s worth of cash in weeks, then laughed as working-class Trump supporters got financially annihilated.

This is what late-stage Trumpism looks like: billionaires getting richer while the cult gets rinsed. Wake up.

Nobody understands how big this Singapore move really is for XRP.

Everyone reads “license expansion” and scrolls.
In reality, this is the kind of structural shift you need if you ever want to talk about four and five digit XRP in a straight face macro model.

Here is the logic.

Ripple just received expanded approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, upgrading its Major Payment Institution license so it can run full end to end digital token payment flows in Singapore. That includes fund collection, custody and holding, token swaps, and payouts for institutional clients, using assets like XRP and RLUSD.

Singapore is not just another market, it is Ripple’s APAC headquarters since 2017 and is treated internally as a pivotal global hub. MAS now recognises Ripple Markets APAC as one of the very few blockchain firms allowed to operate a regulated digital payment token stack at scale.

Put simply, Ripple can now
• onboard banks, fintechs and crypto companies in Singapore
• use XRP and RLUSD in fully regulated cross border payment flows
• handle the full lifecycle of those flows inside its own infrastructure

This is not speculative usage, this is licensed usage.

Now connect that to what is already in flight.

DBS and Franklin Templeton are issuing and trading tokenised money market funds on the XRP Ledger in Singapore, paired directly with Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin for trading, lending and collateral. Franklin’s sgBENJI fund is issued on XRPL, listed on DBS Digital Exchange, and swappable against RLUSD in Singapore’s regulatory perimeter.

You have
• tokenised funds issued on XRPL
• a dollar stablecoin (RLUSD) on XRPL
• a bridge asset (XRP) on XRPL
• a fully licensed payment stack in Singapore that can legally connect all of these for institutions

Add to that Ripple’s other moves this year
• acquisition of Hidden Road, now Ripple Prime, a multi asset prime broker clearing 3 trillion dollars a year for more than 300 institutions
• acquisition of GTreasury, giving Ripple direct reach into global corporate treasury workflows and cash management

You are looking at a single integrated machine that can
originate flows in corporate treasuries
pipe them through Ripple Prime
settle them on XRPL
route liquidity through XRP and RLUSD
and do it from a fully regulated hub in Singapore that services the entire Asia Pacific region.

If XRP ever trades at ten thousand dollars, it will not be because of memes or charts.
It will be because
• multi trillion dollar treasuries are managing liquidity through XRPL
• tokenised funds, stablecoins and real world assets are settling on XRPL
• hubs like Singapore are clearing huge percentages of global trade, remittances and asset flows through licensed digital payment infrastructures that use XRP as a neutral bridge.

This MAS decision is one of those quiet foundation stones.
Regulators just gave Ripple permission to turn Singapore into the XRP and RLUSD liquidity switchboard for Asia.

Price will not move in a straight line, and nothing is guaranteed, but if you are building a serious path to extreme valuations, this is exactly the kind of regulatory and structural win you need on the way to an XRP that settles a meaningful slice of a 100 plus trillion dollar global value flow.

You guys been busy I see. Let's go XRP!!! I am going to fill up my bag and just chill. I hope it goes to 10k per coin. That would make a lot of patient folk millionaires. But in this new financial landscape what is a millionaire anymore?

What's good fam? I'm new to crypto & need some help... Mad vids are out saying "get your crypto off of exchanges" - I have mine in CoinBase. I copped the Tangem & Ellipal cold wallets to move off CB but there are some tokens I can't move over (MasterBOT, HBAR, XVM, XLM & VWA). Have no idea WTF I'm buying; just going off what others say. I've already lost 700k+ XLM trying to move to cold wallets & don't want to lose any more. I think it has something to do with the network(s)? If anyone can be of assistance, I'd sincerely appreciate it.
:please:

I'm not personally familiar with using Tangem, or Ellipal
But I've heard a bunch of people saying they are pretty solid though
Just take your time & be careful to copy/paste the correct address to transfer the coins
But just a quick heads up
HBAR only works natively with a few cold wallets
And it takes a while (sometimes a couple days hold time) to transfer HBAR off of Coinbase exchange
I learned that the hard way
I use D'Cent (fingerprint) cold wallet, for the coins that are not as popular
*** If you stick with accumulating mostly "ISO20022 coins", you should be okay in the long run ***

@CurtDawg @Lattimore Appreciate the insight... Not a typo: at one point I had 2.4M XLM - after trying to xfer to cold wallets, I have 1.6M in CB exchange. CB won't allow me to purchase more; only xfer or sell (same with others previously listed). I can purchase through Tangem but they're $2+ a coin. I believe they were $0.00002 (?) when purchased on CB. Seriously don't know WTF I'm doing...

You probably bought at 0.002
For 2.4m coins back then, before 2018, paid probably $5k US.

Coinbase will give you limits if you arent verified with your acct. Meaning have to prove who you are.

But what is your end goal? You want to sell some off or what?

Why dont you join Kraken? As they are unlimited in many transfers. Coinbase may just be restricting your acct, they have levels according to how much youre moving to make sure, as most exchanges that you aren't doing anything criminal so need a KYC (Know Your Client).

I'm not sure why you lost so much transferring coins to your hard wallet but could of been if they have fees for the wallet? I'm not sure. XLM has one of the lowest gas fees of crypto.

Here's two vids i quickly found explaining wallets and crypto for beginners

@Mixd Appreciate the videos & will check them out. I bought XLM on CB about a month ago. It's still showing $0.000002 but has message: "Cannot be bought on Coinbase". Unfamiliar with Kraken. End goal is to learn something about crypto; maybe make a piece of change.

I believe I got some kind of "network" error when attempting to move XLM & others to Tangem & Ellipal wallets. I had success with several tokens & tried to move XLM using previous successful wallet transaction/address - I can see XLM coins moved from CB exchange but not deposited to wallet. I'd been doing small $1 xfers to make sure transactions went through before going all in.

I ain't put but a couple hundred dollars towards all this so far. I was about to get into REITs when crypto caught my attention; so I got into both.

Is this the same XLM? Stellar?

Showing as $0.25 for me.

Have you tried contacting Coinbase tech support, to see if they can help you?
Or another thing to try, go to Reddit.com
Check this out when you get a chance:

Maybe try asking your question over there
Or maybe read through some of the threads from other users in your same situation
I've seen plenty of times where some of those dudes gave good advice on how to recover lost crypto

Just be careful what info you post, since reddit is not a private forum
DON'T go posting your SEED PHRASE or anything like that
And don't click on any strange links.....for some random person to take the rest of your money
But good luck with everything

To my understanding yes sir, Stellar = XLM. On Tangem I show $0.2553, I bought $20 - on CoinBase I show $0.00000009, but cannot be bought.
Can you post a screenshot of that what you see without showing any of your personal info?
Doesn't make sense. Unless it's some other coin listed that is no longer available or was a "shitcoin" maybe labeled as Stellar something or XLM something but isn't the original coin.

^^^
Yeah something does not sound right :dunno:
XLM == Stellar (Lumens)
The price should be close to the same across the board on all exchanges
It should be around $0.25 (the equivalent of a US quarter) or so

@CurtDawg @Mixd This is what my CoinBase exchange shows:

Is this Coinbase Wallet app? They no longer support or use this app for I think since 2023.
Is this Coinbase app alone?

Appears like this is either Coinbase Wallet app, no longer supported or that its a version of XLM no longer used?
Weird to me

Not CB Wallet app, standard CB... I tried CB Wallet & got pissed off 'cause I still couldn't move particular tokens off of CB to CBW - don't make sense...

Does anyone know what DEX is? Wondering if the network has something to do with inability to move coins - I think that was an error message I received...

I found that coin, it is on the Base app which is from Coinbase. Don't think that is the normal XLM. Not sure what that is. I have Base app and thats where I found the coin with the same logo.

Not sure how Base works but think that was the carry over from when Coinbase had it's Wallet. Can't remember, but I transferred all my coins off it and dropped all my holdings from Coinbase at one point. Because they were dropping the wallet from holding many coins back then.
