Questions
How do you cash your money out?

What are your exit strategies for this market or do you view this as a long hold type investment?


Just starting to try and wrap my head around how this works and how I can profit from it.

OK back to page 1.

1. Cash your money out by using places like coinbase(they are fucked up but have a shift card), bitstamp, bitpay and so on. You can also just spend shit in BTC. Just don't forget taxes are owed for that.

2. A mix of long-term and short-term flips. Depends on the crypto. Most take the view of stacking up BTC in the long run.

Poloniex had my usd down as $6666 & some change (dont know if they cheated me). I sold all my XRP stock. Transferred the bitcoins to coinbase, sold the bitcoins, then transferred the money to a bs business account. Got hit with over $100 in deductions, dont know what for, but its ok. Everything went through smoothly. They say the money should be in my account by next week.

I invested $200 in some shit I knew nothing about a few months ago, and now I got a cool $6500+ (before taxes). Flipped that $200 over 32 times via a simple investment. Not bad! Kinda pissed that I couldve had almost double that if i payed attention to this thread earlier in the summer. My stupid mistake.

This was kinda interesting.

Imma play around with this buying and trading stuff in a few months. I know the outcome wont be the same for each investment, but you never know.

Props to everyone who contributed to this thread.

Staking requires you to hold the coins and I believe there are cases that require you to have a minimum number of coins you must hold but shit like NEO allows you to stake for GAS with no minimum restriction. Son't quote me on that. Mining can be difficult depending on what hash rate you can generate and what coin you're interested in mining. It can be profitable but you should do a lot of research before you get into, luckily there are plenty of resources on the web that will hold your hand walk you through each step. Yes, there are some cats mining and staking in this thread

No doubt. Patience is a major key. So many people are panic selling and really fucking off with money. I had to tell my boy to chill. He was about to take a huge loss by panic selling like it's the end of the world.

Sometimes you just have to cut your losses. That's why it's important to only invest in coins you really believe in so you can hodl during rough times

I don't know what your entry point was but if it's 1.25 or less, I think it will come back sooner than later. Or just buy more so your break even point is lower
