I've been saying this for years and I get pushed back. You have people say that the organization doesn't have time to develop quarterbacks they want results now. How are you gonna draft the face of the franchise yet you won't develop him.
It's like most of these organizations want a finish product immediately instead of doing their job of developing a quarterback. Even,Patrick Mahomes had to sit a few years before the Chiefs gave him the key to the franchise.
That's the reason why teams like the Browns can never get over the hump.
The Browns drafted Baker in 2018 yet instead of signing him a new deal they traded him,a few years later. Now,look at him.
The Browns drafted Dorian Thompson-Robinson in 2023,they didn't try to develop him. Then two years later traded him to the Eagles.
Then drafted Shedeur and Dillion Gabriel this year and they act like the regular season is supposed to be an extended preseason.
What's even more egregious there's reports the Browns will most likely draft another quarterback in the 2026 draft. I just don't understand how you're thinking about drafting your fifth quarterback in eight years when the 2025 season ain't over. What's funny is that they want Arch Manning but he hasn't panned out in college. All that tanking yet the guy you want isn't playing well in college.
How about fixing you offensive line in the draft.
How about drafting a receiver that can actually catch the dayum ball because Jerry Juedy isn't a first receiving option.
Then,we have to look at the offensive head coach or offensive coordinator wanting the quarterback to fit their system. I don't understand,how a coach still thinks fitting a quarterback into their system is a great idea when it should be the other way around. You obvious draft the quarterback for a reason yet won't create a system that fits him.
That's why I don't understand,how a losing fan base thinks getting a new stadium is going to fix something. Then,bitch and complain about the prices being too high.
I know one thing I may never step a foot on Denver soil for the rest my life but at least I saw the Broncos win three Superbowls.
