{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

Agreed. It's all about perception and representation of the obligation he attached himself to the minute he signed a NBA contract. This is pure unadulterated immature behavior. Trying to give off the impression he's bout that life. Real Gs don't advertise that they're strapped and neither do people who take gun ownership seriously. Ja is just making himself more of a target with these antics and he's gonna get checked by someone who really is bout that life in a way he doesn't want if he keeps this up.

damn it

Why didn't I write that?

Bruh, he's representing a brand, not himself.
Exactly. He can be out the league and get a fucking grenade launcher if he wants. Which seems will happen at this point. Stupid fuck. There's no justification for his level of stupidity.

Why is social media and the media making this out to be such BIG NEWS??? Guns are legal to have in this country??? I don’t get it

Black men having a gun is wrong and sends the wrong message. They need to be unarmed so the good samatirians like Daniel Penny can choke them to death fairly easily with little push back. :dunno:

Also keep in mind social media is run by a bunch of Golden State Warriors season ticket holders in San Francisco, this Ja story is a nice deflection from their collapse. ;)

Which actually makes it even worse because if you knew this than why would you put your career on the line for it? If that nigga don't give a fuck about his career I'm not giving a fuck about it. Fuck em'. He's earned what's coming to him. He's worked his dumbass off for the backlash and yearly suspension.

As a private person he can do whatever he wants...as an employee of a global corporation he's obligated to uphold a brand.

Stop defending people doing dumb shit simply because they black :smh: :smh:

As long as you cash checks working for a business that's about selling an image you can't do what ever you want to do.

A lot of people don't seem to understand this, even when you're not working, you are still actually working, everything you do outside your job Is reflected to your job. So certain jobs you could flash guns in the club, you could video back yard stripper parties and go in to work the next day no problem, certain jobs you can not. Plus I'm pretty sure people employed by companies like that are given rules at the start of employment. Hell I think the NBA gives rookie classes on how not to get caught up In stupid shit :dunno: .

Yup. No different than someone who works for the FEDS that have a security clearance. It's certain things you can't do. Hell being married to someone in the FEDS there are certain things I can't even do....
