{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

So much for counseling :smh:

Yep, just a shame.

But ain't not counseling needed for what his is was. The only thing that needed to be was "Hey Ja, don't wave guns on camera".

And his excuse is "You don't understand, when I hear that music I"

That lil nigga with the camera needs to be sent back to SC. That's his lil homie and everytime Ja gets into some shit he is always around...

Tee send that lil nigga home and any homie that is on that BS them niggas got to go!

Yeah, but at some point Ja need to take some personal accountability and not do things that will get him in trouble.

Tried to tell yall he shoulda been suspended for the season.

Let's see how this unfolds.

Let's see how the NBA responds

Dummy already met with Adam Silver, what else is there to say?

Dude needs to start listening to R&B and keep guns away.

Why can't the little dummy just wave finger guns like normal people.

and why doesn't he have security with guns instead of him carrying one.

Dude already lost $40 mil not making All NBA.

He needs to stop listening to music all together because it starts listening to R&B, then they'll be vids of him with his di

Vulcan bars

The thing I don't get is humans trying to turn this into a gun rights issue?

First off it's a league rule.

Period.

He broke it.

It ain't new. He wasn't doing a commercial for guns or at a range or even in his backyard

the biggest pro gun folk I would think would pissed with his carelessness beyond anything else.

And he endorses products as a spokesperson and there are clauses specifically against this behavior

Even in his NBA contract

Karl Malone was shooting guns hunting his whole career.

It's NOT about that. It's about him not only being reckless but not caring and thinking the rules don't apply to him

AFTER BEING SERIOUSLY PUBLICLY REPRIMANDED.

And finally...

What if Ja DID accidentally shoot someone while playing with his widdle gun?

WTF would folk say THEN?

ALL THIS would be avoided if Ja just stopped playing with guns period but especially stop doing on social media.

Just this morning… someone close to the 76ers said to me: if they lose today, they get the sense that Embiid will try to find a way to team up w/ Jimmy in Miami. Take that for what it’s worth.

Agreed. It's all about perception and representation of the obligation he attached himself to the minute he signed a NBA contract. This is pure unadulterated immature behavior. Trying to give off the impression he's bout that life. Real Gs don't advertise that they're strapped and neither do people who take gun ownership seriously. Ja is just making himself more of a target with these antics and he's gonna get checked by someone who really is bout that life in a way he doesn't want if he keeps this up.

He just made the league look stupid with all the rehab and media spin they put on it.

He played his employer. Folks tried to save him. The consequences are going to suck for him but he earned it.

The savant has got this figured out. Game 2 target because of the altitude but if they take 1 it's ova quick. Stay healthy Black Jesus.

If the Lakers take either game 1 or game 2, it’s over quick. Repeat of the Bubble. Nuggets need both at home. And if the Nuggets do that, LA will need both at home or this series will be over in 5 if they go back to Denver 3-1.
