Man, you talk reckless, you get what you get in that circumstance. Two inches and thirty pounds is not a big enough difference to make one athlete totally exempt from another hitting him no matter what he says. (To be clear, I think people should use their words and not fight but the whole portrayal of this is ridiculous.)

I wonder how much Draymond being the darkest of the prominent players in the NBA plays into how he was unanimously portrayed as a monster for that incident. I don't think two inches and thirty pounds justifies everyone in the media portraying a fight between those two as being as lopsided as they did. Part of it was about black vs beige-- a subgenre of black vs everything else-- the darker person being viewed as intrinsically more imposing, threatening, animalistic.
As much as DG talks shit to everybody but his bitch ass wanna get in someone face like he tough and then take a swing afterwards. So, yeah, DG isn't innocent here either, dude is a loud mouth and don't know when to chill. Players aren't gonna take that kind of shit from him and all of takes is hitting the wrong one and ya ass gotta get fucked up. Size don't matter either specially people that know how to fight and box. So, yeah, some of these dudes like DG pick their battles on who they want to put their hands on. So, I don't blame Poole for not wanting to fuck with him after that punch.
I've talked shit to my family and friends all the time but shit never got to the point that we wanted to rumble. Also, this is why I don't talk shit or fool with strangers because you don't know how that person's day is going. Also, my cousin got killed at a pool hall for talking shit because dudes were mad that they were losing.
I say this so that you can't expect people to act a certain way because you wanna act like you the baddest on the planet and that's how green be out there on the court and then the incident with Poole. Also, I wouldn't take advice from a dude about not talking reckless when he be talking reckless as well.
Same with Dillion Brooks, dude be hitting people and getting in people face thinking he tough and that's why players stand down and fuck him up just like Donovan Mitchell did when he hit him in the groin because not every player gonna just lay down.
