***Official 2018 FIFA World Cup Thread***

Im a new viewer to soccer/football,, theres a good chance soccers can blow up in this colony!! Anyway, Im new to the game and gotta lot to learn about it..

Well, yes and no. It will get more popular certainly, but the current system (no relegation) is contrary to the ENTIRE REST OF THE WORLD. And that affects the entire US soccer program as well as MLS.

As usual in these things, it's all about money.

Just goes to show how powerful club football isnover the international game.

Somewhere Montella is smiling.

The timing of this is dreadful smh

:hellyea: The world cup's tomorrow but I'm already looking forward to 2026 when it comes to North America.... I gotta go to at least one game

Oh man, that's gonna be crazy. We have 60 out of 80 games in the US too.

That whole North America bid was a rouse. This shit is effectively a US World Cup again.

Imagine the final being at Texas stadium.

Not bad. Belgium beating Germany is gonna be tough.

Germany's strong point is that they are a very disciplined and well organised team. They may not have star players like Brazil and Argentina but they make up for it by being highly organised. That's always been their strength and what has made them 4 times winners.

Yessir.

These tournaments are rarely ever about who has the most stars on their side. Moreso it's about who can simply get to the next game. Germany have mastered that formula in recent times.

Hope these youtube streams stay up, but I have a meeting right at the start of the first match.

Yeah but I hate USA fans. Stupid cac act like the team should win. They fuckin suck.

USA USA USA, that shit.
Lol yea that chant is bland af.

And yea, the CAC's can be annoying I agree but it's all we got. It's put up with that or sit it out entirely.

I just worry about the matches. Everything else is background noise to me.

It's pretty bad when you've been eliminated after the first game. Russia looked like they were having a 5 a side in the park

Smmfh
