~--~Official 2012 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread~--~

Orlando is retarded

resign jameer and pick up jj final year but let go of anderson

:lol::lol::lol:

then again ryan benefited from D12 could be proof they are moving on

I would like to thank the genius that is Gar Foreman :rolleyes: for using our 3 million dollar mini exemption on Kirk Hinrich. So CJ Watson will probably be let go but we use the main part of the little money we have on Hinrich. They should have used it on Courtney Lee. And now reports say that the team may match Asik and keep Korver. What the fuck!!!!

right....dont see a trade exception with Ray...

Are Riley and Ainge talking Ray Allen sign-and-trade?

Ira Winderman
Winderman is the Heat beat writer. This is the idea I proposed last week. If you're going to lose Ray, might as well get something for him. LeBron and Bosh both originally agreed to sign with the Heat back in 2010, but then later they were signed-and traded.

Now the Celtics don't want to help their rival, but they have to look out for self first. Remember the Celtics goal is to win the championship. Not just to beat the Heat. The better team the C's have the better their chances. The Western Conference with the reloaded Lakers and the Thunder won't be pushovers. If the Celtics can get an asset for Ray they have to do it. Even if that asset doesn't help this year's Celtics, Ainge can always flip it for someone who will.

Miami has assets?

what!????!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

the deadline for the chicago bulls to waive c.j. Watson is july 10. They’re attempting to trade him before that date, according to sources.

The story doesn't rule out the possibility that Asik may get matched and that Korver is the safest bet to return amongst him, Brewer and Watson which I think is stupid. And at this point I wouldn't rule out Foreman making the dumb move of matching the offer.

We lucked into Teague but other than that I don't get anything that the team has or hasn't done this offseason. The only person on the team that needs a new deal is Gibson. Other than that the team doesn't need anymore overpaid vets.

And if anything the Bulls should use Asik to set up a sign and trade with the Rockets for Lee.

Quick question cause I have no idea what Lewis game is now since he got paid and stop caring..... Why would he be a better fit for NY?

He used to have a decent post game in Seattle. Could either back you down or turn and face up and hit you with the jab step. Good outside shooter as well. The Knicks would be better off with a post player off the bench because everyone else is an outside shooter.

How many did you buy???

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

:lol:

Its fucked up man!! But that's still my team. I was right though about dwight opt in.Time to rebuild.

Just get lots of cap space and lots of draft picks.

Chi is going to pay 25 million for a back up center. No way I believe that.

only way that happens if Noah is out of the picture

It seems like the only issue that the Bulls have is the 15 million dollar balloon payment in year 3. I have issues with paying him 5 million and they don't seem to.

Cool ok thats a valid opinion though arguably Melo could do all those things as well, but having another player who could do it besides him would an improvement.

This is true, but when Melo is in foul trouble and/or Stat (inevitably) gets hurt you can put him in the line up.

Nets “making progress” on finding a third team to take Kris Humphries in a scenario that would send Dwight Howard to Brooklyn, source says.

@KBergCBS
One possible destination for Humphries is Cleveland, who would get the forward in a sign-and-trade arrangement, source says.

Andy

Orlando needs to stop bullshitting and just send him to BK. If anything do it to give your division and in-state rival some comp because you're not beating Miami anytime soon anyway.

Without an extension with Lakers, Andrew Bynum has a short list of teams he will consider in 2013 free agency, league sources tell Y!

bynum told the magic no
Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
Bynum has shown no inclination to agree to an immediate extension if sent to Orlando as part of a Dwight Howard package, sources tell Y!

Orlando ran out of options

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
Dallas and Cleveland are among teams with cap space that would interest Bynum in 2013 as a free agent, sources tell Y!

D-town. Cleveland???

Hardwood Paroxysm ‏@HPbasketball
Waiting for “Cavaliers send conditional first-rounder to Orlando in Dwight-Howard to Nets trade; becomes lotto pick if Nets eliminate Heat”

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
Among Bynum’s short list of potential free agent landing spots in 2013, Houston is prominent with Dallas and Cleveland, sources tell Y!

Jim Buss now will be working on an extension :lol::lol::lol:

Bynum pulled a Dwight:lol::lol:

As a Knicks fan I hope Dwight goes to The Nets. All it takes is one injury and that team is done and that team is filled with some of the most injury prone muthafuckas in the league.

Wow Bynum is pulling a ray allen

Lakers Nation ‏@LakersNation

Woah. Andrew Bynum says he'll test free agency w/o an extension and has a short list of teams he likes. http://bit.ly/Nei4Ag

Lakers Nation ‏@LakersNation

Now things get interesting for the Lakers, who could quickly go from choosing between Drew and Dwight to having neither. Dangerous.

Bynum had enough of his name in trade talks. G move
