Right now the Heat are going all in
on Rashard Lewis. He is No. 1 on
Miami's list. Expect the VIP
treatment for Lewis in meeting
tomorrow

Miami not interested in sign and
trade scenarios that include Norris
Cole or Joel Anthony, sources say.
Makes Camby an unlikely fit.

Looks like Camby will be in the New York area as he wants more than the Heat can offer and the Heat have little to no interest in giving up any players for a S&T.

Lewis would be interesting...if his decline in numbers were in fact the result of injury and not declining skills. Maybe have a Chris Anderson type role as a stretch 4.

Well Im pretty sure it was evenly.

It's a chance Miller won't be back, you can spare Wade's minutes greatly with Allen.
Using Allen to close out the game.

Camby helps but not as much as Allen, plus it's really didn't come out until recently
he wanted to go else where. They could get bodies to plug in the post, not like Camby tho
(Thomas, Joel, Eddie, Jonas, Justin). You really can't say that about the wing spot or there's a better three point shooter on the market.

I think Camby is a better fit for Miami than NY. Their center spot has always be questionable. Even at this stage of his career what he'd give you is better than what Anthony provides. Actually Lewis fits what NY needs more than Camby and vice-versa.

I'm still wondering how Ray fits in their rotations.

Camby wants money. Reason why he said himself he was willing to stay in houston.

Which is why Houston said they would explore sign and trade deals.

problem is Miami has no more money

Camby wants money.

Camby has made over 100 million from NBA checks and still is like fuck that nigga where the money at?

Fuck a ring!

Frank Madden
Also in Milwaukee Bucks The Milwaukee Bucks and 25-year-old power forward Ersan Ilyasova are close finalizing a five-year, $45 million deal, according to a report from Jorge Sierra of HoopsHype.

Aaron Gray Agrees To Two-Year Deal With Raptors

Aaron Gray has agreed to re-sign with the Raptors on a two-year agreement.
Gray signed a one-year contract with Toronto last offseason.

Is it just me or the Heat should have gone after Camby harder/earlier then Ray Allen???

Riley gonna try to sell him on the chance of finally getting that ring!

Something neither the Nets or the Knicks can offer him.

The frontcourt issue needs addressing but they seem very nonchalant about it

If anyone knows this you do. Jerry isn't spending money. Hell he is about to cut Kyle Krover

i just found out we are rebuilding.

we gonna trade off a lot of people at the deadline this year.

anddddddd taj told garpax to match houtson offer.

jerry R is all in on the white sox.

that is where his money goes.

rose needs to demand a trade.

ima holla at Reggie next week.

these niggas bringin back kirk hinrich.

:puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke:

Whats yall money like, Is the enough to sign the player you want them to?
When will Rose be ready to play?
Its not a great pick, but it will help down the road, you can slide Rose over to the sg slot, and still have your offense run smoothly.

Killa man read this shit....

Don't discount the Heat no longer having a mid-level. There still could be a sign-and-trade
for Ray Allen, with the Heat perhaps using a draft pick as enticement.
Remember, LeBron and Bosh were sign-and-trades. Heat could create a traded-player exception by moving a player for a pick.

Also in New York Knicks The Knicks may also know soon if they will be adding yet another veteran player to the roster. According to El Correo, Argentina's star point guard Pablo Prigioni will announce "Monday or Tuesday" where he will play next season. The Knicks have had strong interest in the 35 year old, but at this point can only offer him a veteran's minimum contract. He may pass and return to the Spanish League for more money. With Jason Kidd and Jeremy Lin on the roster, Prigioni, an outstanding passer and defender, may not see much playing time in New York.

J.R. Smith is not part of USA Basketball's training camp, but he is in Las Vegas. The Knicks have been trying to get him to agree to re-signing for $2.8 million -- 120% of last season's salary, which is the max they can re-sign him for -- and get him in the fold. With the Knicks not expected to match the Raptors offer sheet to Landry Fields, Smith would almost certainly take over the starting two-guard spot. But Smith may see the $5 million Fields will get in Year 1 and think his market value should be just as high, if not higher. Smith isn't getting a great deal of attention from other teams right now, but that could change once teams start signing players after the moratorium lifts on Wednesday. Is he waiting to see what the market has to offer?

that is a possibility thing that Ira leaves out was that along with the pick Cleveland and T-Dot received a trade exception worth 15 million.

They didn't wanna loose Lebron and Bosh for nothing.

thing is will Boston help Miami? because all this will mean is they would likely receive a pick while Miami keeps their MLE to use for Camby.

They would be helping Miami get stronger.

Cleveland and Raptors knew they wouldn't be competing with the Heat

Also in New York Knicks Steve Novak is another Bird Rights in-house free agent the Knicks want to keep in the fold. The feeling is mutual, as Novak has expressed to the team a strong interest in returning to New York. While it seems inevitable the sides will get something worked out in due time, Novak is getting interest from a handful of teams. No one has made an offer as of yet, which would basically set a price for the Knicks.

We would see how much Boston value's that pick.

right....dont see a trade exception with Ray...

Are Riley and Ainge talking Ray Allen sign-and-trade?

Ira Winderman
Winderman is the Heat beat writer. This is the idea I proposed last week. If you're going to lose Ray, might as well get something for him. LeBron and Bosh both originally agreed to sign with the Heat back in 2010, but then later they were signed-and traded.

Now the Celtics don't want to help their rival, but they have to look out for self first. Remember the Celtics goal is to win the championship. Not just to beat the Heat. The better team the C's have the better their chances. The Western Conference with the reloaded Lakers and the Thunder won't be pushovers. If the Celtics can get an asset for Ray they have to do it. Even if that asset doesn't help this year's Celtics, Ainge can always flip it for someone who will.

Exactly... and I dont get it. Are they still expecting Curry and Pittman to pan out???

Lewis couldnt grab boards or defend down low if his life depended on it.

He doesnt even fit Miami's MO of defense first IMHO.

They should include a team like Houston in some kind of 3-way deal. But who would Miami give up?

Quick question cause I have no idea what Lewis game is now since he got paid and stop caring..... Why would he be a better fit for NY?
