~--~Official 2012 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread~--~

As a Knicks fan I hope Dwight goes to The Nets. All it takes is one injury and that team is done and that team is filled with some of the most injury prone muthafuckas in the league.

did you really say that

amare-stoudemire-sling.jpg

Fuck out here with that dumb shit. Stop acting like you ain't paying 20 mil a year to a nigga who can't stay healthy or get insurance to play in the Olympics

Wow Bynum is pulling a ray allen

Bynum had enough of his name in trade talks. G move

Yeah, I thought it was bold of them to show their cards. If they in fact, did. Lakers not only have to worry about free agency, but also Bynum's motivation coming into next season. They took a big gamble in a very uncertain situation.

man please ... your pg has a limp wrist, your SF has a punctured lung, your shooting guard has no personality (not an injury but still a fact), and your dream trade is for a center who just had back surgery. I bring this up cause if Amare is a risk those are all risk too.

Also it should take you about 2 seasons to renew your bench unless your owner provolone keeps playing the odds and offers everyone under the sun that blank envelope full of money ... So yeah your team injury prone

same pg that still put up numbers this year?? same small forward that miss 5 games???

my point no team that has amare on their fucking roster should call any other team injury prone.

again all our players can get insurance.

can amare.

(well if Dwight comes that won't be the case)

^^^ yeah like dude said adding dwight your an injury away. Anyhow Amare did 17/7 last year in a season that saw a ton of guys have major injuries. Amare is one guy your whole team has injury concerns.

I admit dudes statement was in bad taste but its real

injury concern?? As I said neither player has a recurring injury.

while amare can't get insurance. Dwight becomes a Net I agree. Hell I agree if Lopez hurts his foot again.

even tho I want to see a Kobe vs Lebron finals, I wish Andrew was able to leave on his own, just for them playing with him with these trade talks...

I tend to take the player side when there's Fuck shit that happens

What happened to Kaman being available?

I always felt like he could be useful in the right situation. Dude can ball.

Magic general manager Rob Hennigan and Nets general manager Billy King have been in contact for days, but now they can have face-to-face conversations about a possible trade involving Howard.

word is it's 80 percent done

Again, people: Cleveland isn't providing picks to trade for a player it can sign for free. Any picks are going the other way.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
As @tribjazz reports, Raja Bell finalizing buyout w/ Jazz. Bell has interest in returning to his hometown to play for Heat, source tells Y!

Another possibility for Raja Bell: The Lakers. Kobe Bryant recruited Bell hard a year ago, and still fits as defensive-minded guard w/ Nash.

Hinrich took way less money to come to the Bulls...other teams like the Bucks and a few others were gonna give him millions more. He mustve really love the Chi. He wil fit in nice with Tom Tibbys scheme of things.

BTW...if Howard goes to the Nets.......it wil be like some Miami Heat part two shit. The league has to stop this bs before other teams try to follow suit. The NBA drafts aint gonna be shit for the foreseeable future due to underdeveloped kats flooding the league due to their lust for fame and money. So more than likely there will be only 3-4 teams in the entire league being able to seriously compete for a title over and over again every year. This will make the NBA loss money in the future due to shit being too predictable and overall boring. And thats not hate...thats just coming from someone that like to watch good & competitive basketball games.

what you mean this didn't happen in free agency

I know....but either way Howard was gonna go to where he wanted to go; and that team was the Nets. And if he didnt go to where he wanted to go..then he was gonna act like a bitch until he got there. FA or not...the Heat indirectly set a new yet bad standard with the signing of Bosh and LBJ.

I truly believe that Miamis big 2.5 wanted to win a title.......hence the reason why they all signed with Miami. But other players dont look at it that way. IMHO ...players like Melo, Howard, Daron etc aint got a tile on their minds...yet theyre going to storied/soon to be storied franchises. Players like that make the league look bad imo....lol.

People like LBJ, Kobe etc might stil have that hunger to win...but after Jordan put the NBA on the map as far as revenue is concerned....I think its safe to say that money has officially overshadowed the actual sport of Basketball.

Im just looking for balance..thats all. Should I blame the Gm's/owners instead of the players?

Deron chose to stay with the Brooklyn Nets. Dwight chose the Nets. I agree winning is not the key here but if this happens.

which is a good chance it doesn't.. This will be because of Billy King and Dwight.

Hell Billy King deserves a lot of praise because before he took the job this was what we walked away in 2010.
