KARMA

This situation will bring the best out of the English FA. Replay needs to be implemented for situations like this. There's no excuse in explaining to the world that was a goal, but the referee on the pitch can authorize otherwise.

Fuckery at it's finest.

:smh:as long as seth blatter is the boss there will not be a video replay or any thuing else for that matter:smh:

Why not? So shit like this is acceptable to you? :smh:

Yes because these are mistakes, not errors... The reason why video technology would not be fair is that the poor countries may not have access to the same technology. This is the reason Fifa has given for keeping it out. Ivory Coast suffered from a handball; did anyone call for video technology then? The Nazi handlled the ball on the free kick, and on a breakaway... This is how this game is played...

The guy who post these things is a hater...

:lol: what has Donovan ever did to be "hated" on?

ride the bench in Germany?
score two goals for Everton?
be a "STAR" for MLS?

dude is bitch and a prima donna. Other us players have had more success but since they are not as marketable ("white"), they are not pushed as superstars in the same way he is. 35 year old beckham came to LA took his shine and he acted like a 18 year old hs bitch. :smh:

This is the mystery that surrounds world football. I had a recent stint in Peru, and this very conversation came up at a local pub.

The consensus was that instead of a clear cut solution, people would rather be intrigued by the beauty of the match.

But this is a fan's mentality which is why Sepp Blatter (President of FIFA) should be sniped on site. He runs FIFA like a fan, not a president.

Players have to live with decisions like this, and you if you spend your life playing football, you should be deserved every little bit you earn.

OK, let me read this...

In the final game between England and Germany , Hurst kicked a ball that hit the upright and the came down close to the line. I think it did not go in, but England was given a goal

Ahh OK...In fact, ESPN just showed it. Damn, this does seem like payback for that. The Hurst goal was not a goal, and this one clearly was. Shit, the refs fucked up both calls.

If the score stays like this, I'm not turning on the T.V., going outside or interacting with anyone tomorrow. I don't have the energy to hear this B.S.

US Soccer is gonna have to address this.

he will not do it because he says it will take out the emotion and discussion out of the game

Eventually a team is going to lose a final behind a bad decision

It's not about England, it's not about Karma. It's about making sure that a team is not cheated out of goals

Romania were eliminated by this kind of decision in Euro 96.

It makes the sport look like a joke. I feel for the linesman because every makes mistakes and that is why technology could help the game

I did. Ivory Coast were robbed, and if the planet can see it, we should help the official on the pitch.

There are two problems:

1. It will introduce unnecessary stoppages in the game
2. Video technology will favour the wealthy who can afford technology.

Leave things the way they are...

Technology that can tell the damn refs if a goal has been scored should be in the World Cup. I'm not saying add instant replay for every play or call but goal's like that should not be missed. That's just too obvious. "This is how the game is played" is not a legitimate reason for all the bad calls. :smh:

It has nothing to do with race, remember when they were trying to push Adu as the next Pele? He even did a commercial with him...

No.. that is the nature of the game. The ref misses or makes the decision; we move on.

Gotta agree with that...I dont like the machines being able to tell us everything. What would there be to talk about if we had those?
