Yeah, hearing John Harkes call the game does suck. You can hear him rooting for the US. I'd prefer 2 neutral commentators. It really pains Harkes to give the Black Stars credit. I heard him call a game either yesterday or the day before that the US was not in, he was much better then because he didn't have a rooting interest.

He played in England back in the day. Did not know that he was still around

:smh:

That is the fugliest strip in the tournament. Looking like fucking Bradford. Could have been so much better

Are you kidding me? That Celtic CIV one was much worse

I agree. The one thing that gets me is that with that style of football they don't really shoot outside the 18 and try to work it into 6 and then shoot. I got no problem trying to make things happen by passing through the cracks, but I need them to shoot from distance once in a while.

Yeah. I mean my team Arsenal are allergic to shooting outside of the box. It annoys me.

DAMN!!!!!!!!:eek::eek: Too close. America are going to have to go Gung Ho now.

John Harkes???

I remember him from back in the day.:lol::lol:

Right. And ESPN/ABC have Alexi Lalas working for them as well. He doesn't call games, but he's on the other parts of the broadcast (e.g. pre-game, halftime, post game). He's more of a homer than the "real" reporters. They have a rooting interest, but not like Lalas. At least the others can keep it professional.......

Boateng doing the "hand-up"

"I know that I should have passed to you, but I wanted selfish my playstation goal. But holding my hand up will automatically make you forgive me"

Just a little bit of history, Ayew's father is one of the greatest players ever to have played the game. He was African footballer of the year several times and led Ghana to the finals of the African cup. He also led Olympique Marseilles to a number of victories in Europe. His nickname; Pele!

His son is going places; his skills come from source.:yes::yes:

Damn, I'm still worried. The US will come out stronger in the second half. I gurantee it. They'll be all over us. It's gonna be tight. If America score, it will be from a set piece.

LMAO. Anyone just see the camera try and get in the Ghana group huddle and the camera man got shut out.

:hmm:
