***Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Thread***

if les bleus dont get 3 points off this SA squad missing 2 starters...:smh::smh::smh:

Also, how are you going to walk out on your own team in the world cup?

I thoiught that was strange too. I mean, fuck it, you're AT HOME, SHOW SOME SUPPORT, BLOW YOUR FUCKIN VOOOVEE THINGS< SOMETHIN!!

People who do not know football and jump to extreme conclusions would say South Africa were outclassed. Their problem is a simple one of being too soft on their tackles in midfield. Perreira obviously told them to man up, but it is evident that the racist Uruguayans were saying things to them and disrepecting them after the first goal. South Africa have a basic problem that I pointed out in the Mexico game, that Ghana and Ivory Coast do not tolerate; they allow people to walk into their midfield, with Pienaar being particularly guilt of it. I also predicted that this Uruguay game would be hard for them, and some people dismissed me, saying they almost beat Mexico. The bottom line is that they have good skills, but they do not hustle. They are not pesky like Korea and Japan are, and behave as if another day is assured to them. They do not realise that every game in the World Cup is a desperate matter.

I am glad they are trying to break some legs. These cac players say nasty things on the pitch, and if they call me out of my name, Forlan is leaving South Africa with a piece of metal in his leg. On that first goal, how does the captain of the team duck a shot. If he had let that ball hit in the head, it would have gone out for a corner, a free throw, or maybe even back up in the field of play. Instead the idiot duck out of the way, and let the striker have a free hit on the goal. I have seen Diego Forlan score from distance at Atletico Madrid. The bugger has excellent kicking technique...

Offensively, South Africa are very creative and play beautiful football. However, they need to understand that there two sides to war: offense and defense. Of the two, defense is the stronger. Furthermore, defence begins in midfield, not in the backline. Italy, Argentina, Brazil, will hunt you down from the moment you take the ball. South Africa and Nigeria, think recovering the ball is the job of the defence.

If you are saying that SA is the better side and dropped points solely because they were out hustled and offended by verbal abuse on the part of the Uruguayans, I completely disagree. They made amateurish mistakes all over the pitch and started to lash out after the Uruguayans frustrated them. They had no creativity in the midfield nor any width while attacking. On paper, Uruguay is the better side by a long shot, but I think everyone expected that SA would come out very aggressive and confident (they are the home side at the world cup). However, they didn't and this is a fair result.

The South African were creative offensively in midfield. They move well without the ball and they pass very well...and Pienaar has excellent vision. However, the second, and often more important part of the game, is hustling in midfield. If you are a team with the questions, you have to hustle, you have to be pesky and opportunistic. That is what Japan did to Cameroon. They buzzed all over them like bees. When the Cameroonians had the ball, the Japs took it away. This disrupts the flow of the other team, and gives you more offensive chances. South Africa are lazy in midfield on the defensive side of the ledger. Read my comments on the Mexico game, and you will see this.

As for this game, I have been telling people that it would be difficulty for South Africa. Once Uruguay scored, I knew it would be over for them. Sine Uruguayans were clearly disrespecting them, shouting in their faces, pushing and elbowing down, the least they could do is break some bones. They are out of the tournament, break the leg of Forlan or Suarez. Let Uruguay feel the pain. After all the chinks broke the arm of Drogba before this tournament started.

We know these motherfucker do not love us. Treat them the way they treat us. If you can't beat them, fuck them up.

^ If Nigeria Don't pick up 3 points tomorrow, then thats a much bigger shock to me then tonight. Greece came bottom of the euro08 group, but it was spain who won it, and russia sweden if i remember right. S Korea out played them.. Martins to score
but that mixed race uzbekistan player whatever hes name is.. is garbage, Sven dont play him!!! lol
