Fuck!!!:angry::(

Damn!!! and Tulio had the nerve to say there was no intent...reminds me of that picture of Vinnie Jones going at that dudes head with his boot...

oh shiittt

robben , obi mikel , drogba and ferdinand all are out:smh:

Netherlands winger Arjen Robben had to limp off with an injury during the 6-1 friendly win over Hungary.

The Bayern Munich man came on as a second half substitute and scored just past the hour mark and again ten minutes from time, but failed to finish the game when he was taken off four minutes from the end.

Robben attempted a backheel but crumbled to the ground in pain as he clutched his left leg in pain with what looked like a suspected hamstring pull. He was able to get back on to his feet to trudge off the pitch with the assistance of the medical team.

There were worrying scenes as Robben went straight down the tunnel into the dressing room accompanied by Dirk Kuyt instead of just getting treatment on the bench.

According to Dutch TV, Robben has since been taken to hospital for MRI scans on his hamstring and Oranje coach Bert van Marwijk has confirmed that the 26-year-old winger will not travel with the rest of the squad to South Africa tonight.

Van Marwijk added in the post-match conference, "It doesn't look good with Robben."

Extensive tests on Robben's condition will only be carried out by doctors tomorrow [Sunday].

World Cup 2010: Arjen Robben limps out of Holland win

Arjen Robben, the Holland winger, has been taken to hospital for a scan after leaving the field during his team's 6-1 warm-up rout of Hungary today, with initial reports suggesting that he had injured his hamstring.

Holland's coach, Bert van Marwijk, admitted he is very concerned about Robben's fitness but will not consider calling up a stand-in until the scan, scheduled for tomorrow, determines the extent of the damage.

"He made an unnatural move and then sustained the hamstring injury," Van Marwijk told reporters. "He will not join us tonight on our way to South Africa as he will undergo a scan tomorrow as it was no use to do it now."

Van Marwijk said he had feared injuries from Holland's final warm-up match but had started to relax until Robben, a second-half substituate, hobbled off in obvious pain two minutes from time.

"My first thought was this can't be true, the end the final warm-up match, everyone is fit and then this," he added.

"We now have to wait. I can replace Robben until 24 hours before our opening match but as long as there is hope he recovers in time he will stay in the squad."

Van Marwijk could not hide his disappointment at the winger's injury. "I would rather lose this match and have Arjen stay fit. He felt a sharp pain. That does not bode well. But I do not lose hope."

Robben scored twice in the victory, withRobin van Persie, Wesley Sneijder, Mark van Bommel and Eljero Elia also on the scoresheet.

Balazs Dzudzsak had given Hungary the lead with a goal that seemed to expose frailties in the Holland defence, before the Dutch midfield took control.

I'm totally going to go to a bar showing the USA v England game wearing an England jersey. Cant wait for the World Cup!

Poor Drogba! :smh:

Fuck U.S. Soccer son. Not until Bob Bradley is fired, Altidore, Davies, or Dempsey replaces Donovan as the face of U.S. football, and I start seeing some dedicated pitches outside of the suburbs.:lol::lol::lol:

haters-gonna-hate.gif

Bob Bradley does suck though.:smh:

Aside from the U.S., I'm also rooting for Argentina but that's because I have Argentine family members.

I agree 100% but I can't roll with the "bruvs" despite my being a Chelsea supporter.

BRING ON THE PENALTIES ENGLAND!....:dance::dance::dance:

Fuck these African teams. I was reading a magazine in Barnes and Noble and found that Cameroun, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa have all made recent coaching changes in the last few months. The most egrigious case was Ivory Coast where the coach appears to have been kicked out by the players... and the compliant, and unimaginative, Sven Goran Ericksson, of Mexican and English National Team ignomy, brought in, in the last few months. Ghana had no choice but to get a new coach, since the Serb they had last time, who did so well with them in 2006, found such favour after the exploits of Ghana, that his home country wanted him back...

But why did the South Africans get rid of a coach who came close to getting them to beat Brazil, why, why? They think Carlos Alberto Perreira will win the World Cup by his name only? What a bunch of idiots. And then the Nigerians fired their coach because they did not win the ANC this match, what kind of crap is this. This is a team that was outplayed by Zambia... what do they expect? They are what the are... Cameroun have an idiot called Le Guen, that they apparently hired hired in recent months too.. Africa, Africa, Africa...

The only African team I have hope for, anymore, is France...

Just would like to remind those from the US the last time these two teams met......ahem

Nigeria's Mikel ruled out with knee injury

JOHANNESBURG -- Nigeria midfielder John Obi Mikel will miss the World Cup because he has not fully recovered from left knee surgery.

The Chelsea player had sat out World Cup warmup matches against Saudi Arabia and Colombia, but had been expected to play Sunday against South Korea.

"It is the same knee and I did not want to risk any further damage, also I think it is in the best interest of the team for me to withdraw rather than waste a slot," the 23-year-old Mikel said on Chelsea's website. "I wish the team good luck and I know that they will surprise people."

Nigeria said Mikel will be replaced by Ideye Brown of French club Sochaux.

Fuck you talking about? Amodu was a fucking bum!! Took them long enough to can his bitch ass. His lack of adjustments during the Zambia QF and Ghana SF game in the ANC was sickening. :smh:

Are you suggesting that they should have stuck it out with that bum on some nationalism shit?

Fuck that. :hmm:

Oh, and good luck rooting for France
