***Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Thread***

Was this today? There is commotion in this camp. Unbelievable.. But look at Ivory Coast, a player revolt forced out their coach a few weeks ago. Nigeria and Cameroon also kicked out their coaches.. South Africa kicked out their coach, who took them to the semifinals of the Confederations Cup. Why the did that, I do not know.

I have just heard that money grabbing cunt Adebayor saying that the French players are acting out and that they should toe the line

Fuck me, anyone would think that that fucker is a choirboy

How the BBC could have a provocative dirty bastard like that on the panel, I don't know

The BBC's first interview after Obama was elected was....Dizzee Rascal!!!
BBC is akin to FOX nowadays...a cotdamn shame

Video tech of some kind, I have no idea why 'the powers that be' are against it

Because of the unequal amount in resourrces among the participating countries... Some would be at a great disadvantage. This is why they do not play the World Cup on artificial turf. In South Africa, FIFA has experimented with hybrid turf, that is a mixture of artificial and natural grass at one of the stadiums... Having said that, something needs to be done. New Zealand was robbed of a point by an Italian dive, to say nothing about the handball scored by that motherfucking Luis Fabiano..

Or simply pay more attention to the cheating countries. They are Spain, Brazil (as of today), Italy, and all the Latin American countries...Someone says they are doing well. Could that be because they cheat, What if England had dived in the game with the US, and dubious penalty had been awarded?

The expulsion of Kaka is terrible and may come to haunt the Ivory Coast if Portugal beats Brazil, or Brazil could simply let the Portuguese win to spite Ivory Coast..

At 6'7 he would be a gangly peter crouch. He would not be effective. It has been found that the optimum size for a football player is about 59-5'10... There some oddities, like Kohler who was the number 9 for the Czech Republic years ago, who was 6'8... But his height did not really make him a superstar. If height conferred an advantage, the Dutch, who are the tallest Europeans, would not have a team that was smaller than Japans...

The problem on the other hand, arises with teams like South Africa that are undersized. In Africa, people in Southern and Central Africa carry Bushman genes which make them smaller than West Africans. The difference in size, accounts to a large extent, for the disparity in football accomplishment between the two regions. Southern Africans could become more competitive if they targeted bigger people to play the sport...

I know about the height thing, but he's more athletic than Peter Crouch. I'm not really reading too much in this sort of thing, but he can be more like an Ibrahimovic.

In this video he says his legs aren't up to snuff for futbol.

There was a poll on Univision asking if Kaka still continues to be one of the world's best, and the answer that got the majority vote was "he never was one of the world's best".

I remember watching this live and having ZERO sympathy for that bitch Van Persie...He tried to drop his nuts and it backfired..."full stop"

Also, Adebayor is a soulless mercenary but weren't the Arsenal fans the ones who wanted him gone? Didn't they make brochures and highlight reels trying to get rid of his ass...:lol::lol:

WHY DID HE GET A YELLOW CARD???

THAT WAS FUCKING SICK!!!

LOOK AT THE ATTEMPTED TACKLE AT 0:47.:smh: AND HE STILL OWNED THE ENTIRE DEFENSE!:smh::smh:

I'M 6FT 6 AND I PLAYED IN HS, COLLEGE AND STILL PLAY IN A LOCAL LEAGUE IN NYC. MY HEIGHT'S BEEN MORE OF AN ASSET. SHIT.

HOOORAY FOR THE TALL GUYS!!!
:dance::dance::dance:

Braziil outsmarted us. They simply refused to make this a speed game. They were painfully aware of their deficiencies in central midfield, and fortified the defensive midfield. Brazil absolutely reduced the speed of the game to a crawl; and then they picked their times to attack..Oh well.. you learn...

Yep. That is why I like this team much more than the last Brasilian team... they play intelligently and are defensive-minded as opposed to the previous team that not only looked unenthused, got owned in the midfield and were mad suspect defensively.. yep and they attacked when given the opportunity because it was very obvious that the Ivory coast was faster in the mid-field...

The FFF needs to get rid of Domenech and fly down Blanc right now. These fuckers have the talent to win some games, but Domenech has no idea what he's doing anymore. How France deals with their last group match with Bafana Bafana should be interesting.

Yeah, France have totally underperformed. Let's see how they play in that possible last game. I still can't understand why the kept him after the Euros in 2008

:smh:

I have to agree with you; they have talent to win their group, but they refused to play. They have talent everywhere else to compete with anyone. All they need to contend is a playmaker...

I agree; the game with RSA should be interesting.... South Africa are undersized, have played stupidly, especially on the defensive end of the ball, but Pienaar and co have played creatively when going forward...What if they beat France 3-0, and Mexico loses 1-0 to Uruguay?

:smh:

A house divided against itself cannot stand. The only team in the group that could beat Les Bleus beat Les Bleus. Les Blues are said to have such internecine hatred team members cannot even eat at the same table...

Portugal came to play today... great teamwork. Ronaldo still needs to end his scoring drought... so far he has an assist. He needs to chill with those 35 yard shots and pass it more and trust his teammates...the goals will come.

It's looking embarrassing. Portugal can score at will

I think Brazil will fashion a draw against Portugal and stick Ivory Coast in the back for that dive against Kaka. A Mexican told me one month ago, that he feared that Brazil might try to help Portugal. They are in a position to do that now, by simply playing to any sort of draw against Portugal, if Portugal can put away North Korea by only 1-0. This is something Dunga sent Kaka to tell the Portuguese coach last night. Although Drogba was secretly listening to the conversation, he could not tell what they were saying since they were speaking Portuguese... How ironic given that French and Portuguese are both Latin languages...
