I'm listening to this album right now and had forgotten how amazingly smooth it is. No skip-overs at all.
Chime in w/ you thoughts
What M.J.'s best album?
****MODS, CAN YOU ADD A POLL FOR ME?
i dont fuq wit' Mike at all after "off the wall". thas my joint...
Off the wall was dope of course. But I gotta go with Thriller. Just of the strentgth of Billie Jean, Human Nature and P.Y.T alone.
extra c/s!!!,,, i've always thought that,,, videos pushed the "thriller" album to what it was,,, no such thing as videos when "off the wall" was out,,,

hell no. i can not cosign. off the wall can not go single for single with thriller. PYT and Billie Jean by themselves kill it.
i know it's cool to have the contrarian viewpoint....but no way, no how on this one.
and someone mentioned bad vs. dangerous....i didn't really rock with dangerous too tough at the time, but grew to appreciate it later. still, bad hands down. too many bangers.
he was a consistent hitmaker if there ever was one.
I've always thought that "Off The Wall" was his greatest album, and that "I Can't Help It" is one of the under-appreciated classics of all time. In fact, the "Rock With You" video is how I'll always remember Michael in my mind's eye. Young, at the height of his talents, yet, without any of the surgical transformations that would come in later years.
extra c/s!!!,,, i've always thought that,,, videos pushed the "thriller" album to what it was,,, no such thing as videos when "off the wall" was out,,, mj was an innovator of music videos,,, was still a new concept,,, & prior to mj, videos were basically just whiteboys playing heavy metal in concert
I always thought that myself.
Rock With You is probably my top 3 personal favorite songs of all time.
Can't go wrong either way IMO. THriller may be his best seller but his best album??
