Let me tell you. going into the military was the best thing i've ever done in my life. As far as the lifelong benefits you get after you get out. You just need to calculater when you go in so you have the best chance of not going to war. take it there are no guarantees. But it will take you from a boy to a man and let you know that shit is real out here in the field. Shit im 44 and receive a 200 dollar check every month for the rest of my life. They are also paying 70,000 sending my to any college i pick for vocational rehabilitation. Plus pay me 1800 a month for expenses. A Lot of people talk about the VA but you have to utilize the system to benefit you. Its still hella messed up though.

He went in first, he saw a guy with his gun down, they both raised their rifles together, my cuz' AK jammed! the Afgan had his gun raised, but saw my cousins back up and surrendered.

But if he was REALLY bout it, and was ready to die. My cousin wouldn't be here. My cousin told me, his AK jammed because of something that happens to A LOT of soldiers who die in combat. Sand gets in the gun, and builds up in the chamber and blocks the rounds.

Every day consumers are just as much to blame. They are the fuel to the war machine. Corporations use the military branch to ensure they get the prime land and cheapest prices. If we didn't fund greedy corporations with our purchasing power then there would be no justification to invade other nations for resources.

Also if we as a nation didn't have a taste for heroin there would be no need to be in certain regions. Even the corner dealer helps fuel the wars.

The question I was about to ask. Do they think we are suppose to believe they are spending all that money on an unknown solider (24 hour guard,etc). No one who complains is giving up things? Shit, the same can be said about cats who down western civilization while typing on their computers, and enjoying smartphones, airplanes, modern medicine, cars, television, air conditioning and other things that come from it.
