Also I thought if you turned off 2 settings, unlocked developer options and then allowed install of unknown apps, Amazon couldn't delete your apps.

What 2 settings? Cause I've unlocked developer options and I've allowed unknown apps. It hasn't deleted the app yet but I see the message on the 2 at home and the 1 at work. Don't know what kind of timeline their on for deleting it.

And are you doing anything more than streaming on your device? Cause I'm not and would need it just to stream.
