I'll say this much. I don't agree with the OP assessment of Nicki being the best rapper out right now, but she came really tight on that track (remember, Snoop has a ton of classic tracks with really simple lyrics and metaphors. You don't have to be really complicated and intricate to be tight).

But she's a in bad situation as far as this board's general opinion is of her musically (I think 90% on here are willing to admit they'd gladly smash, so I'm just talking musically). If they're not feeling her music, they'll say "she's wack for spittin' garbage." If they ARE feeling her music, they'll say "so-and-so wrote it, so therefore of course it's hot. Yeah I can't prove it, but I KNOW so-and-so wrote it. Nicki is still wack." This is a no win situation for her on here.

I think her lyrics are cool. She can hold her own on a song. I'd listen to her before I listen to a bunch of wack rappers out now.

F*ck This whole argument, Nicky Minaj Killed the verse on Monster, I like the flow, and the delivery. She is not the best, and I don't get the comparisons on rappers of the female variety, really. We've had nothing to compare two of them to at the same time ever, well except when foxy and kim was spitting they sexy shit. Nicky Minaj ain't said one thing about throwing lips on a dick so like dude said there is no one in her lane. Thats how it is for female rappers, not one of them is the same. I heard some garbage and it probably came from YM PR the she is a contemporary Lauren Hill, I almost stabbed my twin brother for repeating that shit. they all are different none are better cause all get props just for being female in a mans game. But on Nicky some I like some not so much but I don't hate her. And I've never heard anyone put the reindeer in a song in the right order and have it make sense. props for that
