Fam, the rhymes are ok but it's her flow that makes her stand out.
On every track that she does.
She's essentially the female version of the 90s Busta Rhymes, she brings energy to the track, no matter what it is.
But she does rhyme on an 8th grade level.

now, like ll cool j once said, you don't have to be super rapper on every record, spittin complex, crazy shit. sometimes it's about the song, not your bars, and goofy voices, switching flows, hype delivery and simple, catchy lyrics/hooks work better. but nicki minaj has literally never spit one single quotable, at least not that i've heard. as an mc, she's on the level of lil bow wow.
When you're a hot rapper everyone knows your lyrics. I haven't met a person yet who can quote me 6 bars of hers. And other than singing that hook for the your love song, no one knows anything else of hers. She's all gimmick and the op has fallen for it.

She reminds me of Busta (like Djmark said) or Missy (when she first cane out). They had the quirky style and did shit wild. Let's face it, most female rappers NEVER get respect anyway. Shit practically being a female rapper is a gimmick in it self. I've never liked Lil' Kim or Foxxy Brown, couldn't tell you a song they've made because to me they just sounded like the male counterparts they were around.
