I actually felt Mike Babcock was a bitch sayin a bunch of slick shit when interviewed during games... Theyre not doing anything special, were just not playing well, type shit. Then after the series was over it was some atleast we made em work for it type shit...

Key thing about playoff hockey is that it's very fast-paced and that works well on the tv platform. With the lack of whistles in the game (especially post-season) they'll often have very long runs of game time. One of the local sports articles noted a game this past week went 11 mins, 50 seconds to start the game before the first stoppage of play. That kinda thing.

The first 2 periods pretty much took the nerves I had and threw them out of the window... Then they came back, and I felt they were playing with house money. I cant explain why, but when the Hawks hit OT theres a quiet calm I feel... I think theyre gonna pull it out for no other reason then they have the most talent on the ice at any given moment, and in OT when everybody is tired, talent generally will take advantage of those fatigue brain farts that inevitably happen...
