NHL Playoff - Anyone besides me watching?

Not a hockey fan, but i actually watched the 3 ot last night (cause i saw it on the ESPN ticker).

If Chicago wins it again...like I think they will (just been one of those seasons; look at the streak early on) then i'll act like a Heat fan and jump on the bandwagon.

another OT game between My Blackhawks vs the bruins

best competitive Stanley Cup in a long time
 
If the Hawks win this cup it will go down in history as the toughest run EVER!!! Jimmy Howard, Jonathan Quick, and Tuukka Rask...:smh: Thats fucking murderer roe as far as NHL goalies go.

Allot of defensive breakdowns... The Bruins are beating the Hawks doing what the Hawks do best... Turn advances into the attacking zone into odd man rushes the other way. Thing is the Hawks cant get away with it against the Bruins because Boston has better defense men and Rask is a beast... Im not saying they should play grind it out, dump and chase hockey. But theyre not getting away with the attacking style against them... Thing is I dont know how you can tweak the system at this point in the playoffs. But even though his GAA is a bit high, Crawford has really saved the Hawks asses this series with his play. Theyre peppering the net glove high and beating him though, maybe limiting the oddman rushes by playing a bit more conservatively on offense would help settle down and see the puck better.
 
Great OT win by the Blackhawks, it was nice
to see Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane improving play
tonight. Also we really missed Hossa in Game 3
it was good that he was back in tonights lineup

This has been a very intense and well played Stanley Cup series

props to the Bruins for making it one of the
most exciting championship series in recent memory:yes:

kane and toews upfront,

It was much better compared to game 3
Blackhawks were more aggressive with the forechecking, they did
better with the faceoffs and forced more shots on goal on Rask
Quenneville did a better job with adjusting line changes
during the game.

I agree, as long as Chara and Seidenburg can key in on Toews, they essentially stop the Hawks. Kane is more of a playmaker than goalscorer, he sets up Toews and IMO he not being on the same line consistently is why Toews has struggled...

Right, they got loose and tried to get to pretty when Boston turned up the heat... Sometimes you just need to clear the puck and set the defense back up, not keep poking at it trying to convert it into offense... Yes its boring, but before tonight the Hawks werent getting quality shots... They were really bad angle, and weak shots that didnt pose much of a threat. For that reason it looks like theyre pressing trying to get quality looks, but thats the main source of Bostons offense. Get you frustrated to the point where you try to do to much, against their strength, then turn it around when youre out of position to defend...:smh:
 
Blackhawks brought that heat tonight, fucking Crawford damn near lost the game for them but in the end the Hawks came through. If they would of went down 3-1 to the Bruins this series would of been over. Been getting into Hockey since the Hawks won the cup in 2010, it is an exciting game. :yes::yes:

Most of those goals wernt on Crawford though... You HAVE to clear the puck to help your goalie out. That shit aint easy, knowing where the puck is at all times when the other team is actively trying to shield it from you. Seeing the puck is one thing, but when you see your team take possession of it, then here comes a 70 MPH wrister out of no where its not on you. In fact most goals arent really on the goalie. If you notice it only takes 1 guy being out of position for a prime scoring chance. Yes the great ones bail out bad D from time to time. But even a great goalie can look like shit when the guys in front arent sharp.

The Hawks had their way with Johnathan Quick, but have struggled with Detroits Howard, and now Rask, why??? Are Rask and Howard really that much better than Jonathan Quick??? No, but the defensemen in front of him make it look that way.
 
My Mexican buddies be celebrating hard when the Blackhawks win. They threw a big party when they won that title a few years ago. .....Think another party is in the making. Let me get my "bandwagon" outfit ready. Mexican bitches gone be all over me!

Patrick Kane was able to do his thing in this game
good goaltending by Crawford and Defense by the HAWKS

they won the majority of the face offs and outshot the bruins
good win
 
In a way this short season was a blessing in disguise

I know its hard for people to chalk up bread for a hockey game
If you got a dub to spare go see the wolves
They play at allstate arena, that's our minor league team(rockford is blackhawks minor league)
Just as exciting for a much cheaper price
