It was a good series El. Give credit to the Sabers. They never quit.
I disagree El. The defense in front of Miller was awful on Buffalo's part. And the powerplay was terrible as well. None of there defensemen cleared Flyers out of the crease. Can't win a playoff game on the road that way.
Fuckin' finally ... hell ... the city was modestly celebrating like they'd won the Stanley Cup yesterday. First time out of the 1st round in a handful of years ... 40 years in the league ... last big-time season was in 1994 when they took the NY Rangers to Game 7 in the Finals. After finishing 1st in the league this year ... definitely a good feeling to finally get past Chicago as they've had our number in recent years and are coming off their own championship season. Mad props to Chicago and their fans ... ya'll kicked our asses in games 4, 5, and 6 outscoring us 16 - 5 in those 3 games, and tying game 7 with less than 2 minutes remaining. Ya'll are a strong squad

Props to the Canucks on the win.I thought that the Hawks were in great shape especially considering how we tied the game late short handed and then were able to get a man advantage early in OT. Except for 1 good shot the power play didn't do jack at that point and the Blackhawks kept turning the puck over until it finally led to giving up the series clinching score.
The salary cap really hurt this year forcing the Blackhawks to get rid of last year's starting goalie even though Campbell was ridiculous between the pipes at times during the series and the loss of Byfuglien who last year seemed to score big goal time and time again during the playoffs.

Big props to the Bruins. They had more jump all series, were more physical and FAR outplayed us. Major props to their offense and stellar goaltending. Our city / neighborhood is really quiet right about now (and all game). Ya'll took it to us. Congrats to the Bruins (from this Canadian).
