If the 2 year stipulation is true, the clock starts the moment Netflix says its cancelled. So ideally the fans will only have a 1 year gap if all the shows go over to Disney+ however a lot of shit can change in a year or two .. Production locations / schedules, crews... Hell the cast.....
I think Marvel truly wanted to keep these shows on Netflix and then try to renegotiate the terms once plus debuted..

The fighting this season was great, but the writing for the show sucked. The first couple of episodes were good til they got to New York and then the show got way too predictable. That girl was one of the worst characters, every time Frank tell her stay put she leaves and gets caught. They made Madani and Russo complete basket cases and you knew Russo's doctor was going to do the stuff she did. The new villain was good the 1st couple of episodes but it seemed like the writers couldn't come up with anything for him to do.
That kept happening to me on season 1. Never made it past ep6....this character doesnt do anything for me.

Maybe, but not in my eyes, and I'm OK with that, I didn't like season one of dd, even less than season 2 of jj... The only thing I rated it higher than was iron fist. But it's cool and only my opinion. No loss, no foul

Nah its definitely getting canned just like the rest... NETFLIX is getting rid of all of those Marvel / Disney shows, period.
It's too bad, all these shows would have been infintely better at like 5 or 6 episodes. That was a sticking point for Marvel iirc and Netflix wanted longer season runs but all these shows inluding Punisher drag so fucking much. The content would be fuego edited down... trim the goddamn fat. I'm watching either way but seems like a lost opportunity.

Wow. I feel like Daredevil is the better show out of all of them. Punisher was best as a guest star in Daredevil and the first 1/2 of his 1st season was good but it fell flat. I think these shows should be 7 episodes per season. I dont know why the milk them out so much.

Was there a little fat in this season, sure... But I think you need a little fat to add to the flavor of the show. They fit in the Mennonite and Jigsaw into one season and both were done realistically and pretty damn well. Unlike the past seasons of Luke Cake where one villain shines then fizzles and the second villain never really reaches their potential.
If anything you may have been able to get this season down to 11 maybe 10 episodes at the strictest of cuts and still would have had a good season, but cutting down to 7 episodes would have been too much.
The action and collateral damage this season was insane damn near movie levels at some points.
Yeah she did a few episodes of Eureka I believe... Love that she made that transition.
She did an episode of Dear White People, Agents of Shield, American Gods.... And then some.. Man good for her

Outside of the action and fight sequences and violence the drama in between is boring. The drama isn’t holding my attention. I’ve already fell asleep 3 times in a row trying to get passed episode 3. Currently on episode 7. I hate this lil white girl very annoying, acting isn’t there not buying this hip street kid sidekick with a secret subplot. The character looking for her has potential but not much comes from it and I’m halfway through the season.
Episode 7 and I’m waiting on Billy to breakout and start killing up shit so Frank can put him down like a dog in the street. Right now it just feels like this is carrying on to fill out the 12-13 episode quota like albums that got a bunch of filler tracks. Cuz the writing is lacking this season.
This shit WILL be cancelled by Netflix. Nothing special about this season so far.

If I recall correctly they're mixing at least 3 different storylines together for this season. Billy / Jigsaw is one, the Mennonite is another and the "kid" Amy is a variation of one with a boy I believe....
see that's the problem.. both of those things can't be true if the series is truly top notch
