You see how Embiid responded. He couldn't believe it, but when Simmons walked past him, he said something to him but you could tell he was being "nice" to him. Maybe they know getting up in his face is just not going to work and will make it worse or something... but having a guy on the court that won't' even shoot layups is ridiculous. I get if he feels like he's broke and doesn't want to pull up from 20 feet... but passing up layups?... man I haven't seen that since grade school.

That’s what the regular season is for. You work on your weaknesses. People been telling Simmons for years he needs to shoot more. Even if it cost them games, shoot the basketball. At least gain some confidence. Now every time the playoffs come around, he is going to tense up.
