He loves to discount others opinions be distinguishing his as coming from someone who actually played. So he states Yannis playing a bunch of hurt teams, Middleton being the finisher, and Jrue being considered a "dawg" and great player to guys who really played the game. Said we wouldnt even be having this conversation had the Nets not been hurt.

I should have said 3rd. However, when I think of a Super Team I'm thinking of three bonified stars. Middleton is a good player. He's a 20,6, and 6 guy. Jrue is a 17, 6, and 4 guy. They're good players. They aren't stars and definitely not superstars. I guess my point is that there are many teams you put them on and they wouldn't be the #1 or #2 options. They're like the really good role players. At his peak Andre Iguodala was a 20, 5, and 5 guy and you put him on the Warriors and he was a role player. He was past his peak on the Warriors but I think you get my point. Giannis is not playing on a loaded team.

They have very good players who play their roles, roles that are very important for them to win.

Fourth might be a stretch but I get his point. If Middleton is on the Blazers…he’s Norman Powell for them. If he’s on the Wiz he’s behind Beal snd Westbrook…if he was on the Suns he’d be behind Point Fraud and Booker…on the Bucks to me Lopez, Holiday and Middleton are of the same caliber…maybe Lopez is a notch below but I think on a serious contender….he’d be a 3rd or 4th option.

It's funny how they ignore what he does on defense

because KD, Harden, Luka, Joker....whoever they throw out there or try to crown, ain't playing Giannis level D

They don't subtract that from their games though

Defense isn't a requirement in the LeBron era. It was the only way to make it seem guys who play on one side of the ball could be the best. This entire era is the most offense friendly in history. So Giannis defense don't factor in the equation if he the best. You have to be a "graceful" and "finesse" scorer to be the best to most NBA fans.

Middleton’s a bucket getter. He came up small in some games but he carries the team when needed when it comes to scoring. Norm ain’t carrying shit! :roflmao:

I think he’s overpaid but he’s exactly what the Bucks need for Giannis.
