No way they would select Naruto over Kakashi, people may respect Naruto's power, but their isn't a dam thing Naruto has done that would be considered Hokage worthy in the last half on the manga. once again this war should of been, Naruto's test run as Hokage.
Sasuke being good again is a bag of dicks.

The rennigan behind Naruto represents the Sage of six path because the sage was the only one to control all the beast. I guess its the writers way to say naruto is the successor to the sage.
Also the reason Nagato was given the eyes is because the Uzamaki have more stamina than everyone else so that made him the perfect candidate to use the rennigan

I think if you are genetically compatible you could have it implanted but people with eye abilities if they get strong enough should be able to awaken it naturally
