Man to me it looks as though Kishi has run out of 'steam' the story ended totally anti climatic but then again this is a manga right ?
Lost a tons of steam, he introduced a whole lot of characters, and they were just bland and boring of course, most of the new guys didn't get any meaningful screen time (doubt they'll get any) this arc felt like a waste.
It was kinda of unnecessarily to have sasuke fight at all. If mandara use just going to show up now why not have him in the beginning and kick the kages asses.

Here we are seeing sasuke use S'suano like he's trained with it for his whole life, knowing he had to kill off madara but got WTFPWN'D by the raikage to an extent. Then the fine ass mizukage comes outta nohwere with 2 kekki genkai and the old ass tsuchikage summoned a first generation xbox to smash sasuke into oblivion...THEN zetsu fucking megamelds with ppl to steal chara to save sasuke...and MADARA is like...lemme tell u whas gonna happen right now...LMFAO

Madara: "I sent him here because it's very valuable [to me] that he activate his eyes all the way up to Susanoo. I also planned for him to bring you Five Kage down and imprison you, but it seems that was hopeless yet."
Here ends the conversation about Sasuke
"My goal is to rule the world. I've wished this for a long time."
Tsuchikage: "In your case, you should be able to do that by yourself, right?"
Madara: "My body was too gravely injured in the fight against the First, Hashirama. I don't have such power left."
Someone: "Why are you collecting the Tailed Beasts?"
To the story about the Eye of the Moon Plan:
The origin of the current Tailed Beasts is that they are born from a single Ten-Tails. Temari or Kankurou: "Shouldn't there be only nine Tailed Beasts?"
Madara: "Long ago, the Sage of the Six Paths saved the world from the Ten-Tails, but because the beast's power was so great, the Sage put the demonic power inside his own body, making himself a jinchuuriki. Then, he created the Moon and sealed the Ten-Tails' body there. (the story was much longer, but I can't remember the rest ><) Then, as his own death approached, he divided the power into nine pieces..."
I'm sorry, but I'm telling it extremely simplified
Madara: "[My goal is to] revive the Ten-Tails and become its jinchuuriki, project an infinite Tsukuyomi on the Moon, and so rule all of mankind, thus I will create a world without strife."
Mizukage: "This world has no place for such a dream or hope"
Madara: "Right now, it's neither hope nor anything. Hurry up and hand over the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails."

Wow quite interesting, you know i've got another 'wild' theory of mine, it came to me after watching the Naruto 'Bond' Anime movie that was posted here in the movie section, that Red eye boy & naruto are going to have to team up to kill Madara, also I believe that Naruto's going to die like his father, & that Sasuke will become the Hokage, but he'll be blind @ this time though owing to him using his eye no jutsu too much, what do you guys think?

It is gonna come down to Naruto who Madara himself stated he has the blood of Senju to throw a cog in his plan by stopping Sasuke. Then... I have a bad bad feeling they are gonna do some DBZ fusion bullshit to become a new version of the Rikudou Sennin to go against Madara. It will probably be called '2 into 1 no jutsu' or some silly shit. The fusion idea came to mind since the Rikudou Sennin originally possessed the eyes & body of the sage, then split them creating what became the Uchiha (eyes) & Senju (body) clans. Right now no one can stand up to Madara since he is uber full retard strong, despite the fact he stated he was weakened during the fight against Hashirama. WTF kind of techs/skills did Hashirama possess to own a younger full powered Madara?

I've been thinking the same thing.... I wonder why did mandara come out and tell all the other kages that he's weak and a mere shadow of himself and all of his plans for the bijuu. It takes the situation from "akatsuki stealing the bijuu's we should stop them" to "fuck man if he gets the fucking other two he'll rule the world!!". I understand is Kishimoto wanted to explain akatsuki true purpose for us, but it makes no sense in the context of the story. Its not like they were just gonna hand over the bijuu anyway.
They kill Itachi and Pein to early...imo
The story has been rushed for the last 5 months and its gettin worse unless Kishimoto make the next 3 or 4 arcs good....
Your right it doesn't make sense, thats why we get bullshit like Ridoku dividing his power between his 2 sons (disciples?). I think the 10 tailed beast is legit part of the story just because of the obvious connection between Ridoku and Nagato. But, on the other hand with having Madaara being related to Ridoku seems forced.
