Nyc one of the best places to make lots of money without needing any college education.. we been stating that on here for yrs but lot of people can’t comprehend that.. it’s about getting into the right sector.. from Mta, to the hotels, con Edison, sanitation, to construction, postal, board of Ed, etc.. so many opportunities to make money with just a fed/ high school diploma
I will add DC too! LOL it’s a lot of good jobs in the FEDS (on top of DC Metro, hospitality jobs, and etc.) where you only need a high school diploma

Several adult websites that were very popular here on bgol yrs ago that were actually from nyc were funded by the Mta cause the creators/ owners were Mta workers. 1 of the biggest underground legends in the game from the 90s to the 2010s was actually an Mta employee and thanks to his built in demographic of co-workers which was 5 fig amount of employees he was able to have a huge clientele and make thousands of dollars each party he threw( he actually retired from the Mta and collecting a sweet as pension now).. Mta workers were 1 of the top demographic that stripclubs use to promote to in the late 90s to the 2000s cause of their huge amount of employees, the fact they got a consistent check, longevity, and they are very good spenders.. that is just 1 of the many things that being plugged into the Mta can get you, generate money for you, and networking possibilities..there’s a few individuals on here that use to be in the game or are still in the game as far as the nyc adult entertainment that can co-sign everything I just saidCleaning subways? A lot of people in this thread aren't looking big picture at this.
I live near the Queens Village LIRR station. It's in a residential area and you can park for free on the street if you know where to look. The travel time into Manhattan from the Queens Village Station is 30 minutes. You can rent a 1 bedroom apartment a bus ride from the station for $1900/month.
Anyway if you're starting out in the area this job is great. Too many people have gotten caught up in the idea that you can only have a career if you have a college education. No one remembers that a lot of these jobs can be career jobs. Also if this is a job that gets you in the union that's a really big deal. NYC is a union town even tho a lot of people don't realize it.
That’s 38,000 a yr b4 overtime, night differential, holiday pay, etc.. the answer is yes if you are nyc born..i literally said there’s loopholes that you can go do.. bottle water is not $50.. a piece of chicken is not $25.. lot of things in nyc probably cost the same as many states..in fact some places actually might be more in some categories.. there are people that make less than that who live in nyc and been living in nyc.. the streets are not made of gold I blame the media for making nyc seem like you have to play for the nfl to live here
