MR. ROBOT Official Discussion Thread (New Season starts Oct.6)

How you going to tell MJ about owning publishing yet when he gets the Beatles catalogue you stop talking to him...He should of been mad at himself for not getting it before MJ....And,what everything was good after MJ died.

OK i hear you

I don't remember the details

but MJ DID snake him though!

Nobody EVER disputed that.

MJ was a killer and MANY slept.

It was FAIR for the man to be MAD damn...

that is HIS music! His life work! and they were BOYS!

again its BUSINESS...

but I cannot hate on Paul for being mad he was outsmarted...

and once he dead what he supposed to do ?

STAY MAD?

and I think after the divorce completely jacking his fortune and seeing how people were jacking MJ money?

maybe he FINALLY understood.

BUSINESS NEVER PERSONAL

Rami Malek‘s big night at the Oscars took a serious and painful turn after he fell off the 2019 Academy Awards stage.

The newly-minted Oscar winner, 37, was photographed as he tumbled off the Oscars stage into the audience area after the ceremony had concluded.

The star did his best to hold on his Best Actor statue aloft. Hitting the ground, Malek looked surprised and was helped up by those around him.

Paramedics were then called to treat the actor, who was moved into a chair in the front row. His injuries were not immediately clear.

PEOPLE is out to a representative for Rami.

The actor had just received the award for his portrayal of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

After his name was announced, Malek passionately kissed with his costar and girlfriend Lucy Boynton.

“My mom is in here somewhere, I love you. I love you, lady,” Malek said while accepting the award. “My family, thank you for all of this. My dad didn’t get to see me do any of this, but I think he’s looking down on me right now. This is a monumental moment.”

He went on to thank Queen, as well as producer Graham King.

“I’m so appreciative to all of you, to everyone who has had a hand in getting me here,” Malek continued. “To the Academy, to people who took a change on me every step of the way. Graham King, [producer] Denis O’Sullivan, everyone at Fox and New Regency, thank you guys so much. I might not have been the obvious choice but I guess it worked out. Thank you, Queen. Thank you guys for allowing me to be the tiniest part of your phenomenal, extraordinary legacy. I am forever in your debt.”

Malek wrapped his speech by shouting out Boynton, 25, who plays Mercury’s former fiancée Mary Austin in the musical film.

“Lucy Boynton, you’re the heart of this film,” he concluded. “You are beyond immensely talented you have captured my heart. Thank you so much.”

Malek, who won both a Golden Globe award and Screen Actors Guild award earlier this month for the role, initially believed taking on the part of the Queen frontman would kill his career.

The actor spoke to an audience at Cinemacon in April 2018 where he said, “When I got this role, I thought, ‘Oh my God, this could be a career-defining performance.’ And about two minutes later I thought, ‘This could be a career killer.’”

The Mr. Robot star wasn’t kidding either, adding, “You don’t get this right and it’s trouble.”

The movie chronicles Queen from 1970, when Mercury teamed with Brian May and Roger Taylor, until the band’s performance at Live Aid in 1985, six years before the singer died of complications from AIDS.

Since its release in November, the film has racked up over $900 million in the world box office.

The 91st Academy Awards was broadcasted live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 24.

Mr. Robot’s Last Season Will, Of Course, Be ‘One Very Long Christmas Special’

When you think of a twinkly, sentimental British Christmas, what’s the first thing that springs to mind? That’s right: psychological techno-thriller Mr. Robot. According to series creator Sam Esmail, the show’s fourth and final season will hark back to traditional British sitcoms … by being one gigantic Christmas episode. “You know what they typically do at the end — like [in] the British Office — they tend to do a Christmas special,” Esmail told the audience at Tribeca Film Festival’s “A Farewell to Mr. Robot” event on Sunday. “And so the final season of Mr. Robot is one very long Christmas special. It’ll last over about a week over Christmas of 2015.”

As fans will remember, the USA series originally premiered in 2015, first dropping in May online and airing on the network a month later. Considering everything Mr. Robot has put Rami Malek’s Elliot Alderson through, he’s definitely going to have at least three weird guys busting up his holiday plans, and he’ll be lucky if any of them are benevolent Christmas ghosts.

No, a dark manifestation of your subconscious isn’t manipulating you. Mr. Robot really will end after season four, according to Variety. The episode count hasn’t been disclosed yet, but based on what creator Sam Esmail said following the conclusion of season three, the final one will focus on what happens when Elliot (Rami Malek) and his dad/hallucination/alter ego, Mr. Robot (Christian Slater), finally start to integrate — a process that should be as uplifting and cheerful as we’ve come to expect from Mr. Robot over the years.

Mr. Robot is going out with a bloody Christmas.

It’s been almost two years since season 3 of the Emmy-nominated drama wrapped, but creator Sam Esmail has a very early present in the form of the first look at the fourth and final season.

The image below was unveiled Thursday, and within it, there’s a secret message, with fans then suggested to go here for a hidden clue about the final season.

“Later this year, we’ll premiere the final season of Mr. Robot,” Esmail said. “This season is something I’m truly proud of and cannot wait to share with fans. With that said, I already teased that the final season would take place over the 2015 Christmas holiday, but I will take it one step further. The final season will be a one filled with answers, hacking and blood.”

Speaking to EW in March from the set of the USA series, star Rami Malekshared his excitement about the ending that Esmail has crafted. “I trust Sam implicitly, so if that is the way he thought he could close out this storyline, then I’m with him,” he shared. “I can say this, it is a very impactful, emotional, and I think clearly well thought out way to end this story and this series. It’s remarkable. I’m in awe of the man and what he has done this season.”

don't where to post it so posting it here executive produced by Sam Esmail, starring Rosario Dawsonand showrun by Andy Grenwald of the Ringer, Grantland, & The Watch Podcast (someone i've followed for years & as a tv critic and helped shape some of ty taste)

he has been talking about the production but didnt expect the show to have so much dark humor based on the trailer (never watched Twin Peaks but one Andy's favorite shows and i could see how it influenced him)

Mr. Robot Season 4 premieres October 6th on USA Network. Mr. Robot follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a cyber-security engineer who, along with Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) and fsociety, starts a revolution to change the world. exactly... I'm sure most Member's don't.

A show like this?

I think the long hiatus is REALLY gonna hurt.

I think they should have dropped little viral vids every few months to keep the streets hot.

but honestly...

I love this show so much I was READY whenever.

I am curious what OTHER shows will be on the air at the same time.

Fonz...

you WORRIED at ALL about how they gonna CLOSE this all out?

Cause the Thrones ending is STILL fresh in everyone's minds...

I’m not worriedly about how they do it ... I’m worried that a lot of people forgot about this show.

I mean look at this thread now.... it’s a 38 page thread and we finally get a new trailer and no one is here.
