10,000BC
it's easily the worst movie I've seen for a long while, knocking The Magic Roundabout into a cocked hat with its level of awfulness. There wasn't a single character of any interest at all (and I wasn't always sure which one was which), the plot was so monotonous it was ludicrous, the CGI was crap and the lack of even a semblance of historical/evolutionary accuracy was shocking. Those birdy things were around about a million years ago, which was well before 10,000 BC and even Sabre-toothed cats had died out well before Homo Erectus came along, and the juxtaposition of neolithic with iron age is just a joke. Neolithic/copper yes; copper/iron age yes, but the rest... also, presuming it to be set in Africa/Egypt the Egyptians were still Neolithic in 10,000 BC, the Great Pyramid not being built until around 2,500 BC. I could go on, especially about putting the Sahara in the Ice Age, but I'd probably burst a blood vessel.
