THIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE!!! I was surprised at Justin Timberlake's acting skills too.

But I felt so bad for the little boy for real. I mean he as good dude and he knew karate. If he really knew he were in trouble, he would've been beat dude's ass and ran away. But he thought they were his friends. Everytime I watch the shit even though you know what's gonna happen cause it's a true story, I hope they have an alternate ending.

Yeah - Timberlake's been able to land himself a number of roles over the years post-NSync. Seems like Joey Fatone from that group is all about hosting gigs these days. JC Chasez is doing the co-juding on America's Best Dance Crew, and Lance Bass is doing whatever the fuck he's doing -

ANTON YELCHIN's a great young actor (Alpha Dog).

Some of his best work is on the short-lived Showtime (and Showcase) series HUFF.

Definitely check that out online if you have a chance. Hank Azaria, Blythe Danner (Gwyneth Paltrow's mom), and others star.

I've seen season 1, and I'm hoping Showcase here eventually shows the 2nd season at some point.

The H'wood board is going through a little slump right now...I may have to buy some DVDs this weekend... ...still waiting for good copies of Iron Man and the Hulk to DL...

Or just go to rslinks and get almost any dvd you were thinking about buying

DVD screeeners for movies still in the theater don't often come out unless it's Oscar season. However, if it's available on DVD, chances are high that you'll find it online.

Sam runs a business that cleans up crime scences after some has been murdered or some just dies. One day, he gets a job to clean up a murder in a ritzy neighboorhood, no one's home, but they leave the key outside. He does the job, but forgets to reutrn the key so he comes back the next day to return it, but the the lady of the house answers the door and doesn't know anyones been murdered there.

I won't go any further than that, cuz I don't wanna give it away.

It's an entertaining movie, but very predictable. That's prolly why it went straight to DVD

Word ... sounds interesting. Thanks for the heads-up. I might give it a freebie 'Favorites' rental later this year at some point.

Who here has gone to (or is going to see) WALL-E (released Friday, June 27th, 2008)?

This one's gonna be a blockbuster. The early reviews are hugely favourable. I hadn't heard anything about it ... and then noticed yesterday it was getting A / A + / 5 STAR reviews in magazines, newspapers, and on television movie review segments. Supposedly it's very well-done and the story's a good one. You can't go wrong with Pixar / Andrew Stanton (director of Finding Nemo), and so on.

Wikipedia - "WALL-E ("Waste Allocation Load Lifter-Earth-Class")[2], promoted with an interpunct as WALL•E) is a 2008 computer animated-adventure-comedy-science fiction film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures on June 27, 2008 [3]. The film follows the romance between two robots in the future. The film is directed by Andrew Stanton, whose previous film, Finding Nemo, won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Most of the characters do not have human voices, but communicate with sounds (designed by Ben Burtt) which resemble voices."

Blunt,

How was The King of Kong? I heard alot of good stuff about that one.

4 months, 3 weeks, and 2 Days - how about that one too? It did really well at the film festival in the fall of 2007. It was one of the main showings locally at that time.

Nah I actually like collecting DVDs and sometimes watching them the "old-fashioned" way...especially when I have company...don't ask me why...

 I feel you. Not my cup of tea but I understand....

...I'd still recommend browsing the online collection, even if just to test out movies you've never heard of. Most of them will be trash, but every once in a while you'll slip up on a gem you wouldn't have seen otherwise

She seems like cool people. Nice little frame on her. Feminine. Been likin' her movies for the past number of years. Really made a name for herself globally with her starring role in Amelie ...

Blunt, I second the question about 4 months, 3 weeks, and 2 days. I've heard alot of good things but I heard it could be a little difficult to watch.

King of Kong is a very good movie. Interesting story and it had one of the best villains in the movies last year.

CITY OF MEN(THE MOVIE)

CITY OF MEN(T.V. SERIES):yes::yes::yes:

TV series is one of the better ones I seen. The kid that plays Ace is a very good actor. The tv series leads into the movie but I don't think its that big of a deal to see the movie first.

 I think I need to watch History of Violence again. I keep hearing people talk about the sex scene, I can't even really remember it so it makes me think it was nothing really special.

It won't that great...I seen the movie twice...I do like that she came out the room afterwards and you could see bush and she gave him a dirty look like thanks for the good fukk...movie was tolerable to watch overall nothing special...a good movie I slept on was Way of the Gun...I picked it up cause Benicio Del Toro was in it...thought Ryan Phillippe would've ruined it but it was a pretty good movie...I been meaning to watch it again...

I give Maria Bello a fair bit of credit. She's cool with her body ... and has shown her T&A (and bush) on a few occasions, and I ain't mad at her one bit.

:D:lol:

Lol @ William H. Macy (husband of Felicity Huffman from Desperate Housewives) sucking on her titty in the THE COOLER (good film, by the way) collage (2nd photo selection).

just saw 'There will be Blood' - it was ok. milkshake scene was funny.

Daniel Day Lewis is a helluva'n actor though, huh? I was impressed with the way he made sure he knew others around him were fearful ... obedient ... and so on. Total alpha character. The scene in the beginning where he initially pays the teenager that lump sum of money to show him where a lease of land with oil-based possibilities are. And then RIGHT BEFORE the kid leaves telling him that he sure as hell better not be trying to pull a fast one ... because if indeed he is ... "I will find you, and believe me - I will TAKE BACK more than just my money ..."

That shit was cold :D
