PRAISE: There was some controversy when the trailer for this flick dropped that Shia LaBeouf was doing "brownface"
And later on Director David Ayer stated Shia is playing a white man - although the character is heavily influenced by Latinx culture.
I'm still not sure if this was mentioned in the film.
The story is about 2 enforcers collecting their cuts from the profits of local gangs
But they soon discover everyone is not going to fall in line and there's always someone who is a bit tougher and that has more reach Bobby Soto and Shia LaBeouf
turn in intense performances, theres some nice eye candy and visuals.I enjoyed the conversations between the 2 main characters
PROBLEMS: The story was just lacking
Nothing about the film took hold of me and I found myself distracted
Sometimes Ayer does well with "buddy" movies like this but unfortunately this is just basic
It was mainly people making threats and dying about 5 minutes after making the threat or talking tough
Some of the violence was just cartoonish and unintentionally funny
I'm not even sure why one character took so much time to kill someone
Back in the day Steven Seagal would kill a henchman like the one in this film in 2 seconds !!

Something I recently learned and want to share. If you have a VPN subscription(Which you should) use an IP from out of the USA like Switzerland, France, Canada etc then log into your Netflix etc account. Wow! There’s so much extra content they offer that’s not available in U.S. markets.
History of the world pt.1
A coworker suggested I see this Mel Brooks film. I've always said that Spaceballs was his funniest film. Even though I've only seen a few not all. I remember not liking Blazing saddles.
So I checked the movie and it was just alright. To me Space balls still holds up.
There's still a couple of movies I haven't seen (Life stinks and Young Frankenstein).

The movie came out in 2013, About Time with Rachel McAdams. I'm not going to say anything about it because I don't want to ruin it. It's based in the UK so they speak differently than we do
if you're married or dating , or you just want to see a good movie you should check this one out
Friend checked this one out & said he recommends it ...
