This is the first film in the cult classic “Billy Jack” franchise. I watched it last night on tubi.

The last time I watched this was on some cable channel back in the 90s, it was edited down for time restraints and whatever censorship was at back in.

I had forgotten what the film was about and rewatched it. It’s a low budget film and it actually plays out well in its presentation. The story is done good and acting is at a good level with all the actors. It doesn’t come off as cheesy/goofy the way majority of films that came out like this back in the late 1960s were.

Fight choreography is lame. You can easily see how future fight films starring Chuck Norris, Stephen Seagal, Jon-Claude Van Dam and Jason Statham copied from this film.

For the InCells, women in this film are treated like pure dirt and like pieces of meat. No respect is shown towards them. If you hate women, you will enjoy the scenes they are in.

For the Gay Agenda trackers, the White men in the Motorcycle gang say and do some “Gay” stuff towards each other. I’m assuming their behavior must have been common in Outlaw MC clubs in that era…and possibly still today.

For the Thirsty, plenty of attractive White Women thru out the film.

The film tries to present a message denouncing “Low Life’s” in this country. It doesn’t go as well as they planned.

There are 4 more films following this one starring the “Billy Jack” character. They are not on tubi.

tubi has a clean remastered copy.

Synopsis

A biker gang incites a reign of terror in a California coastal town that culminates in four teenage girls being raped. Vietnam veteran Billy Jack (Tom Laughlin) has had enough, however, and takes on the depraved bikers single-handedly. He rescues young Vicky Barrington (Elizabeth James) from their clutches, but then has to contend with not only the thugs, but also the ineffectual and racist local lawmen, who have it out for the half-Native American Billy.

They gave the white chic from Poor Things the Oscar because she showed her pussy on screen. The movie was basically porn but they tried to pass it off as art.

What you talking about?

You saying that flick has explicit nudity/sex scenes?

Who gives a Fuck about an Oscar, we need more information letting us know if we need to watch it!!!

I rewatched the first one recorded from cable and reviewed in the Movie thread. The 2nd I rewatched and reviewed in the Hulu thread.

I watched this one tonight for the first time on the road.

Since I’m probably the last person on the forum who has seen it, no need to go into details.

The film finally shows Robert get fatally injured. From there the plot is just a rehash of a plot that has been done a lot since the 1950s, mainly in Westerns.

Denzel for this film is showing his age, I suspect that is why they went the route of him getting injured in order to use it for not showing him running around the film like “Billy Bad Ass” as in the prior films.

Not much for action/fighting.

Denzel reunited with Dakota Fanning who was a child actress in last film “Man on Fire” which came out about 20 years earlier.

Hopefully this is the final film, it’s best they restart the franchise with a younger actor and make the future films prequels on Roberts past giving us answers on who exactly he is. Dental has aged out of the role cuz he is 69 years old at this writing.

I last saw this flick on VHS in the late 80s while still in the ARMY.

I been sitting on it on tubi for 2 years and finally got around to watching it last night.

It’s an animated flick. The animation style is when they have live actors perform and the animators draw over the production stills, this technique gives the characters more life like moves. The animation is similar to the cult classic “Heavy Metal”, this films style looks rougher.

The premise is set around the “Conan The Barbarian” theme with “Sword & Sorcery” mixed in.

The plot is nothing original.

For the Pervs, the female characters are drawn with cartoonish “Jessica Rabbit” bodies. There is no nudity/sex scenes.

If you are a fan of “Dungeons & Dragon” content, you will enjoy this film.

tubi has a clean un-remastered version.

Synopsis

This fantastical animated movie by cult filmmaker Ralph Bakshi finds the villainous Nekron and his mother, Queen Juliana, attacking the human race from their frigid fortress. Creating mass destruction with huge glaciers, Nekron and Juliana incur the wrath of Larn, a warrior whose entire village was destroyed by ice. When Nekron's underlings kidnap the beautiful Princess Teegra, Larn sets out to rescue her, assisted by the fierce and enigmatic Darkwolf.

This and perhaps Denzel training someone to take his place.

This was meh

Somewhere inside it's a good movie. It needed to be done by someone to take more risk. Seemed like they didn't want to go full satire. I would go and out between being entertained and being bored. You already offended the whites by the title and trailer, why pacify them with the movie?

It tuned into a love story for appeasement and lighten the tone.

Justice did impress me with his acting at times.

And the ending was like they cut something out to keep it at an hour and 30. Which is weird, because at one point they emphasis his knitting and I was like wtf. Out of the stuff you edit out, you leave these 10 seconds in?

Shit was disturbing. This shit was Frankenstein Lolita.

My aunt and her husband saw it on the big screen.

She's 75 and he's around 82yo.

He's been getting cancer treatments the past year, and on their hospital return in Feb' he insisted on going to see a movie after lunch. He didn't care what, but said Poor Things sounded interesting. I guess neither read the reviews.

They thought it wasn't good at all. One of their least fave movies in years.

I saw my aunt this past Monday and mentioned to her - "So you heard Emma Stone won Best Actress yesterday, right?"

She chuckled and said - "Yeah, I'm still scratching my head about that movie."
