Mine grab, most real innovations come from The US and the are useful out the gate. MB had the wipers for headlights, useless. Americans invented the automatic transmission, Electronic Stability control, power steering. Even when the do something like ABS it actually came from Bosch and the Japanese was also developing it. Can’t think of anything they invented that was a must have.
