Let shit go. You can't take the stress you took at 19, 25, 30, or 45. Just let shit go, move

I'm seeing stress take it's toll on my pops and he really has no reason to be stressed. Retired, papered up but he keeps stressing about shit he has the power to change if he really wanted to. Now the stress is taking a toll on him to the point he has some physical issues. Doctor even told him to reduce the stress :smh:

Funny you made this thread. I was just thinking about this the other day. I just had a high school classmate that passed.

The reality is that it can be a wrap in any moment. All I can really do is try and have a solid quality of life. I want to be able to take care of myself. The moment I have to rely on others, I’m not going to do well mentally.

Get a side hustle that keeps you young. I'm a gigolo that services old shut-in women. If you can get past the piss smelling Depends, the money's good.

There is a secret, it is indeed an inside Job... One thing for sure... Knowing where God is really located for me... Allows me too know, not only am I Good... But it's getting better... Incline

Lie to yourself and say you are younger

If u feel 24 then u are 24

I see a lot of laugh emojis but this here is the truth. I'll be 57 this year and I don't feel a day over 30. It's all in how you feel. Since I wasin my 20s, I have strength trained, lots of bike riding all year long and I feel like I did in my 20s and 30s.

12 years ago I started a raw vegan lifestyle and that seemed to turn back the clock for me lol. My girl says I never walk... I speed walk. I still go up stairs skipping every other step.

It's ALL in how YOU feel... fuck your age number.

100% of getting older for me has been to find balance. Diet and exercise play a major role in dealing with age. Some may think a brother kinda out there, but my body is healing itself. Back in 2018 had a couple pretty bad herniated disk. Changed my diet, a few weeks ago I learned they have shrunk. Bra, inflammation plays a MAJOR role in many ailments people suffer from. Also, Dave Chappelle said it best, wanna kill a nigga? Just give em some salt. I add sugar to that as well.

I keep my sodium less than 2000 mgs a day. at 53 my BP averages 110/67. Cholesterol 150, in August hoping I can get it down to 120 or less. I eat the same thing every day, I call it the Matrix diet. I only give my body the fuel it NEEDS. I drink a gallon and half of water every day. My stomach never hurts, never bloated and the only meds I take is THC for pain.

To be honest. People ask, what can I do to be healthier, live longer? Problem is they ask, but when it comes down to it folks don't wanna put the effort in to get healthy. It's much too easy to just say well, it's a part of getting old and I'll probably be on several medications, no its not. A person "aside from genetic disorders" can be healthy well into their golden years if they start ASAP realizing our bodies need to be properly taken care of and processed foods and just about anything in a bag or can is something the body doesn't need.

Getting settled in for old age requires discipline that most people are not willing to do. I also fast 20 hours daily to allow my body to repair cells and DNA. Thats just me though. My thought process is once I realized how much I abused my body over the years, realized how much drama I had taken it through, I began to feel bad for my body for abusing it for so many damn years. My sacrifice now is my way of thanking my body for not "giving up on me" Be well brothers.

With everything I just wrote BEFORE being valid...

You also have to learn when to cut bait

I wish everyone I met could be lifelong friends but that ain't gonna happen

You lose touch outgrow each other or just don't WANT TO ASSOCIATE with each other

It's not about enemies (I understand sometimes it is)

Like I said make peace forgive let it all go

Don't carry that luggage that negative energy

somethings have been covered in scar tissue and should be left alone.

Again no anger animosity beef or grudge

Just ....

We good. Let's leave it at that.

Learn that it is ok....

To say NO

To say I'm tired

To say I'm sad

To say I'm not in the mood

To say I was wrong

To say I need time to myself

To say I don't have the money

To say I'm depressed

To say I love you (to your son, brother, father)
