Yeah but his brother was a snitch and they knew his cousin turned him….I always questioned this part of the series though….like the Mayans know all this shit about everyone but doesn’t know EZ killed a cop and didn’t serve much time and has a cousin who flipped him? How the hell don’t they know lol?

It’s just inconsistent to me. Angel in theory is a snitch too since he covered up for his brother right? The fear is that his chic would’ve went to the police or whatever? Angel not gonna want any retaliation?
I enjoyed the ride and I binged it just started watching it this year so maybe I’d have a different viewpoint if it if I had been watching for years but writing was a bit off them last years. I’d say the last 2 seasons…..
And also did the writers forget the whole Galindo story arch of being their brother? What was the point of that?
He killed Creeper. Angel ain’t kill anyone. They made EZ pay for the crimes of killing a brother and snitching. They made him pay because they hated him and had a good excuse to get rid of him.
No one had a real beef with Angel. So they allowed him to live as long as he proved his loyalty and they patched him out.
Angel never wanted his brother to join cause of shit like this. Watch the previous seasons. It was hinted at.

Started these this morning.
They closed out pretty much all the major storylines introduced in the past 2 seasons.
Wendy (Drea de Matteo) from “Sons of Anarchy” made a surprise cameo. We got confirmation she is still alive.
Nestor got fully patched in finally.
A number of unexpected killings of some major/minor characters took place in these episodes.
Not gonna spoil the ending for those who haven’t seen it. But the last 30 minutes should go down as the best final scenes to close out a series.
Overall, this was a good series. It wasn’t dragged out like Sons, they kept the storylines short and to the point.
Final rank for the series is 8/10.
No definite word on what Disney has plans for with the franchise. There been rumors of a First 9 series, but nothing has been confirmed.
Looking forward to what Disney has planned.

I championed this show from jump cause I like Sutter overall since The Shield
Sons of Anarchy was the perfect soap opera for men. It went off the damn rails but it elped revolutionary basic cable and modern storytelling period.
This was a very good series and EZ and Angel to be honest both should have been given more recognition
Like Sutter stuff it ALSO went off the rails.
It felt rushed in the final season and that hurt it.
I liked the godfather ending
But it was uneven and illogical
Which COULD have been fine.
I don't know if they had MORE time if they could have done better?

They messed up her arc because I wanted it to parallel EZ more.
I understand her choices made her a killer and Miguel basically trained her to be his biggest threat.
I like the actress and she did good work.
I just thought the build up could have been better.
I suspect the next series in the franchise might revolve mainly around Special Agent Lincoln.
He has basically been “Palpatine” in the background pulling the strings behind SAMCRO, Mayans and the Cartel.
