Looks good. If they do this like the SOA with the pacing, it will be nice. Creators learned their lesson from that SOA ireland season.

Same formula as Sons. They waste no time with filler. Outside of the Ireland season, sons was on point. Only complaint is if they keep making me read shit -- but I get what they are going for.

For the fam' who plan on watching it on TV that have FX at home ... check your local listings. For example, FX Canada is airing it 3 times tonight. 7 - 8:30pm PST, 8:30 - 10, and then 10 - 11:30pm.

If you never watched Sons of Anarchy before, do you need to see it before watching Mayans?
You should be able to watch it, but there will be some characters from SoA popping up and you will be scratching your head on who they are and their relationship with the Mayans.
The Mayans were not to active and not shown much in SoA.
But it would not hurt if you go back and watch the episodes or read a episode breakdown on Wikipedia or somewhere to get up to par.
