Haven't watched the video, but I think the biggest misconception about welfare is that the people don't work. Now i'm not saying the majority of people on welfare work, but in some cases the person just doesn't make enough on their income.

Personally I don't have major problem with supplementing low income families, but like most people I'm against people who never had a job, don't try to better themselves, and worse create an environment for themselves that increase the level of care their situation needs.
