at least create a profile and check your inbox daily. you will receive hits from actual companies. merchandising/demonstrations are easy fields to get in. like everything else, it may not be for everybody but working m-thr only is the shit as far as i'm concerned!! i've been heavy on the site for a minute and pass on 5-10 offers weekly. this company hit me for something i thought i was under qualified for, but i replied back and received a interview 5 weeks out from that point. i actually kept the date, got a 2 on 1 interview, turned my interview game on, and now I'm flying out to Tampa, FL next week for training. I was getting paid but this offered was not to be passed over!! seriously, this has now increased my income and put me in a higher tax bracket to do ridiculously easy work!! I recently bought a house a few months ago, I will be upgrading in a few months now!! For the record people, don't sleep, eat!! I'm trying help my sisters and brothers out as we are faced with the usual.

My homegirl had put me up on this a few years back. You can make decent paper if you are willing to drive far to the available jobs.

So what type of pt work did you apply for and what type of career did you end up falling into?

well i was looking for a side pt merchandising gig. i checked my inbox where they place their specific ads for specific people. the gig is a ft territory merchandising rep. that site pays off especially on that type of work. in reference to the job, i'm to go to specific grocery store chains and report pricing, inform my chain of discontinued item and inform the store personal of new products coming to the store. i have 20 stores and have to visit them at least once every month. i quit my job and took this salary spot. hell, it pays nearly 4 times the pay to do the same job but now i work by myself, full benefits, retirements and 401k, 15 vacation days starting year, and raise review in october. they are paying my internet, cell, and has given me a laptop for work.

this info + your story will get passed on.

:clap::cheers:

Did you pay for any of their tests?

no! that's some extra shit. I never have taken those however its not necessary if you understand what a PLAN-O-GRAM is. (basically detailed info of how a section is to appear. it has every detail from shelf height to product and even upcs depending on what type of work you're doing.) Plan-o-gram work ranges from grocery to home improvement. never have any employer tested me on that. actually when i first got into this back in 2007 i had the slightest idea what it was. i said yes, went to work and had the job mastered in 15 minutes. very simple stuff. btw everything is legit even mystery shopping which i have done. it didn't pay so great tho.

depends on area and type of work. i usually work locally, i need $ 210 a day to travel which is very realistic!! where do u live if you don't mind me asking?

Congrats fam... I'm currently job hunting myself and that sounds pretty interesting..

Another EASY job is being a vendor for Blackberry, Sony-Ericson, LG etc.

Just go to all the Cell phone stores in your area and "talk" and answer questions about certain devices(Which most cell phone reps already know).

a cell company hit me a few weeks ago to demo smart phones. $15hr to benefits...let me find the company...

what type of products and how many products are you responsible for merchandising?

do u make ur own planograms or do they change weekly/quarterly?

plan-o grams are made usually once a year by the store's corp. with these reports, items can range from 10 to 100 in a single day. in theory that sounds like much but just finding the product and filling in the description is fairly easy. for this job plan-o-gram is at a minimum based on what my manager has told.

I signed up for several companies last year, they would call all the time for various positions, but it always interfered with my full time job, now that I'm looking to get rid of the full time job this may be the lick

i hope by "merchandising" you dont mean stocking and rotating product my nigga...

if thats in the that specific description for "that" job. I have done what you're asking in the past however 90% of my merchandising is for reports and data entry. the title you're talking about is called "merchandiser vendor"... those are them niggas in food lions with them vest on. the usually work for acosta, crossmark, advantage, and proctor and gamble. fuck that bullshit homie!! :puke:

who does mystery shopping? i want to do in jacksonville. let me know. thanx

usually you'll be requird to go to specific stores and ask specific questions, peeps service, and report back so those companies can pass the info back to the employer whom hired for services to begin with. retail niggas, your companies are watching you especially cellular and clothing!! :smh:
