Here's a tip:
Whether you're using 3Delight, Iray or any other renderer, the same rules apply..
If I want my image to be 1280 x 1280 pixels, render it at 2650 x 2650 (double the size), and then downsize it in Photoshop (Image < Image Size) to 1280 (use Bicubic Sharper (reduction)), you will get a much sharper image. You don't even have to do a full render at double the size and it will still give you a sharper image when you downsize.

Here's an example I did:
Rendered at 1280px:
Rendered at 2560px, and then downsized to 1280px in Photoshop using bicubic sharper.

				Iray's dirty little secret...
Hi everyone Here comes a little secret to speed up your renders in IRAY without any loss.

Does it really help to render in higher resolution and then resize?
I read the tip that about rendering faster in higher res and then downsize the image to the desired size.
				Here's an example I did:
Rendered at 1280px:
Rendered at 2560px, and then downsized to 1280px in Photoshop using bicubic sharper.
