A dial tweak trick to shade skin color.
Photoshop is good to use in combination with also.
What is the best face program to use with DAZ? Then you can make anyone or very close to it. I've heard of FaceGen and feedback would be great for anyone with experience with it. Here is another one. This one looks promising.

Daz has some good morphs here is one of Danai(TWD Michonne). You need model Nida 8(required). Not bad at all.
I haven't really worked with face transfer yet, though I hear the one built into daz studio is pretty good. If you are using it, I know this product helps to make the head shapes look right when using face transfer.

Your toon idea could most likely work using the toon models. ZBrush(which I need) would finish the trick I reckon.

I have face transfer shapes and ain't even got around to using it yet. I plan to make front and side views of my characters from Terra Squad and run em thru face transfer and see if it can get em close.

You can share files with google drive, that's one way...
It depends on which model. G8 is backwards compatible with most of the previous models. I'm not sure about G3. Ultimately, there are hair converters for all of them. check your inbox.

Not finished with this but just posting progress.
This is not hard to do, but it's time consuming!! A bunch of trial and error. I rendered this shit out 60 times before I got it right. Still not done yet. But this is 90% complete.
Visual Style Shaders (VSS) is a set of cartoon shaders for daz that allow you to convert daz characters to cartoons.

I used this along with geo-shells I created in order to get this anime look (Create < New Geometry Shell). Geo-shells are what are used to create make-up, tattoos, scars, bodypaint, etc. And a good program to create your body art own is Substance Painter. Real dope program to use in addition to ZBrush. Geo-shells are copies of a figure that wrap around the figure. This allows you to layer artwork on top of the figure. It's similar to layers in Photoshop, but in 3d.
This eye is the Genesis 8 Female, with 50% of The Girl 7 for Girl 8's head. The character has 2 geoshells. The eyelashes are from Sakura 8. The iris (purple part of the eye), eyeliner and eyelid was custom made in Adobe Animate. These are just alpha maps (black & white) applied to the opacity control in VSS. The eye reflection (white circles) is from Awesome Anime Eyes Genesis 3 Females. I applied the glow in photoshop with outer glow in the blending modes. All components in this pic has the VSS shader applied. The renderer is 3Delight. Don't sleep on 3Delight either! Iray is good but Pixar has done plenty of movies using 3Delight.
90% complete, just gotta draw an outline for the pupil, switch out the eye reflection (want a smaller one) and put a shadow on the eye white (sclera).

Naw I haven't. I need a pc so I've yet to fuck with iclone
, doing it all on mac currently. But I'm getting a new PC soon. If it's AI based I know it will be phenomenal. For my cartoon shit, Daz suits me fine. But when I get into photoreal stuff in the future, I'll be dealing more with iclone.
