Thats the thang, I dont see how they can get the best out of him. His name is only in the headlines cause he was literally Brooklyns only scorer. He was literally forced to take 20+ shots. Hes basically the 3rd leg on this team. Thats a completely different role for him. Like I said earlier, Im a Laker fan and I clearly remember this nicca hitting a buzzer beater shot on the Lakers the year after Kobe retired and this nicca was pounding his chest and screaming to the crowd "THIS MY TEAM! THIS MY TEAM!" and thats with Ingram and Randal on the team. He goes to Brooklyn and basically has the same mindset. He takes whatever shots he wants and no one says anything. Hes coming to GS where he doesnt have that green light. Its basically "you better play your role" type of role. Thay had no choice. With Durant leaving they still had no cap space to sign another guy. D-lo is healthy so he can play now and take some of the load off Steph until Klay gets back. Sure he costs 30 mil a year but they got it.
Knicks didn't do anything to make anyone want to do that. They didn't draft well or accumulate talent. You'd be coming to a team without the talent necessary to win and with an obviously horrible management team. Yeah, you'd be crowned a God if you do it, but that Knicks have to at least put themselves in a situation where a superstar would want to play there. if you look at the teams in the NBA finals, they drafted the core of that talent and then make savvy free agency moves but they weren't started with completely gutted teams or hoping on completely building the team through free agency.
I like shitting on the Knicks but the league is better when the Knicks are at least respectable.

Man. You can't promise your fans for years that you're tanking but 2019 is going to be the yea. Then you only end up with Julius Randle when everyone was thinking Zion, Kyrie, and KD...and even worse..a team in the same city ends up with them.

He'll be back after the all star break at the earlier. Warriors have some real problems now though...Klay won't come back and be the same defensively that season. Durant was one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. Iggy was one of the most versatile defenders in the league and in my opinion the real heart and soul of the squad....yall are gonna be shocked by how they look next season. People get all wrapped up in the 3 point shooting but the defense was really the key to this team. They're not gonna be able to get stops.
